The whole of Australia is similar to US, and the people are similar.
With all due respect - that's absolute bollocks mate. The Australian mentality is very different than the American one. The geography doesn't match up too well either.
I am an Aussie and felt the US was a larger version when I lived there. Australia follows America, in business trends.
Both got deserts, although states would have more inland water. Sub-tropics and freezing cold, States more extreme being further north than Oz is south. About the same coastline. Surfing is big with both having world champions. Miami - Surfers, New York, LAX - Melbourne, Sydney. Both have their own unique forms of football. Founded as British colonies. Superficial. Both big countries. Both treated their indigenous badly. Undeveloped interiors. Aus: Deadly dangerous snakes, spiders US: Trump
Both are very much immigrant countries albeit, different races. The number of noses per head is the same in both countries.
There are plenty of differences, but that can be said within a country itself.
There's a reason 5-eyes is made up of UK, NZ, USA, Can and Aus. Similarities.
My post was opinion, so it is not for you to say it's bollocks. And a definite statement like "that's absolute bollocks," shows your lack of thought process. Why wouldn't you ask, "compared to what?"
How did it go?
