Pretty unusual for Giant Ibis, I thought they had a pretty exemplary track record versus some of the other bus disasters we've seen. I know they track their driver speeds, etc. so would hope that they'd remain one of bus companies least likely to hire a psychotic "run away" driver treating his bus like an F1 car.
I've been using GI since they started. They were pretty darn good in the beginning but I feel services have been slipping with more dangerous driving, drivers picking up and dropping goods/people en route, the speech about fastening seat belts being absent, etc.
Are there any good companies left? I use cambodia post from time to time, along with GI and Mekong express. I’d say them three are all much the same.
any better options safety wise?
