Anyone interested in building a wood fire oven or ceramic kiln? I have a job lot of left over high quality materials from a large commercial oven build: Approx 80 fire bricks plus assorted off cuts and halves; 5 x 25kg premix refractory mortar ( yes big overestimate on that!!); approx 3 m sq of ceramic fiber fire blanket insulation good to 1000 degree Celsius plus assorted off cuts. Bricks cost $1 USD a piece, premix refractory $30 USD a 25kg bag, insulating fire blanket cost approx $10 USD 1 m sq. Make an offer on the job lot.
Can provide receipts and info on where to get extra materials when needed, can even give you the contact for the construction crew who worked on the job (good workers with a supervisor that speaks very good English). Catch is it needs to be picked up from central Phnom Penh by Tuesday evening or it will go into storage and wait a few months before I can be bothered dealing with it again. Make an offer!
