That’s what I’m afraid of. I’m having something being checked out right now in Cambodia. If its not in my favor, I have no choice but to get a lawyer.
I appreciate that it was distressing t have your K-1 fiancee visa denied, but that's not uncommon. I don't understand why you have such a doomsday attitude towards your pending spouse visa application.especially if you have preliminary stage 1 approval from NVC. The only reason I could see why you'd need a lawyer is if your marriage certificate is a fake not issued by the sangkat.
And even then, there's nothing a lawyer could do except tell you to get a property marriage certificate.
I don't know if you're talking about getting an American lawyer or a Cambodian lawyer but I fear people with an ulterior motive are telling you that you need to pay money to fix something that isn't broken.
People been putting thoughts in my wife’s head and shes putting thoughts in mine from others thats why. I’ve been telling people on my wife’s side that all lawyers do is push paper work, they can’t really do anything for us besides that. But they believe lawyers have some “Magical Stamp” on the paper work that will help us or something, its kind of annoying.
The marriage certificate was issued at the Commune office. We did our thumbprints in a record book. I’m assuming its legit?
IF I was to get a lawyer it’d be an American lawyer. A tall male caucasian lawyer with a pointy noise like what that “Visa Consultant” told my wife lol
