Guru I don't understand what exactly you are getting at. Are you saying that Sweden is socialist? The country has been liberalizing since the early 80s and even before then the market drove the Swedish economy.
I reacted to LaudJohn's statement
"As for a socialist country, many have tried, none have succeeded."
and was trying to point out that several European countries have successfully practiced socialist government for close to a century.
The purpose was to attempt to point out the difference between communism and socialism.
No clue if LaudJohn is from the US, but over there they tend to mix up the two.
It quickly derailed into OT territory and political analysis of the current Swedish political scene, partly due to me no doubt.
I was not attempting to promote any form of government or political agenda, just pointing out that the statement "none have succeeded" is easily proven wrong.
