I just flew Ryanair return.
It was great to be honest. Had whole row to myself, on both flights.
Most of the ailes had 1 or 2 people.
God bless Michael O'leary.
Fock knows how they are making money though.
Easy, for the full flights, they ask a fortune for the last couple of seats. And for those who did not do home-check-in or came up with some more luggage than allowed, they charge another fortune.
Ryanair is not that bad, it's a safe airline, just obey (and understand) their rules and all will go fine. Deviate and it'll cost you a fortune.
Big que in departures to show digital vaccine cert, test cert within last 48 hrs, boarding pass, and passport.
Previously in the bar in departures, sitting next to me, i overheard these 2 excited young ladies wearing hiking boots, who were planning on seing a friend in Skibereen, and doing some hiking there. Skibereen is nice.
They get to the departure desk and the official tells one of them - "You cannot fly, as your test wasnt taken within the last 72 hours".
Everyone looked around, with a farrrk, i'm glad that wasnt me expression on their faces.
Test results were given 25 minutes after swab in the airport. So no drama.
