Re: Myanmar Conflict
I'm referring to Bangladeshis but I would guess that the Rohingya issue would anger most Bengalis as their Rohingya brothers are being targeted because of their race. Although I haven't given the matter much thought I do think it would be difficult to pull off an invasion. They would need to move th...

Re: Myanmar Conflict
It's probably a silly question but why are the Bengalis not launching a speciali military operation of their own? It seems like it'd be popular domestically and with the rest of the Islamic world. They'd have a massive reserve of angry Rohingyas and international jihadists to draw on for manpower.

The conditions you listed develop slowly
I'm not a doctor but I think a healthy person would have to do something drastic like swallow a bottle of aspirin if they wanted to quickly destroy their kidneys.

Re: Weeping in Ramallah
Neither country is in a position to fight a war. Israel has nuclear weapons and they will use them if their existence is threatened. Iran has the capability to decimate much of Israel with their rockets and drones. The leaders on both sides must surely realize that it isn't in their interest to figh...

She deserves to die for her crimes. It's regrettable that her death will be so quick and painless.

Re: smoking chinese bustuds
China is a smoking country. I'm so sick of crackers who go to China and whine about the smoking culture. Secondhand smoke smells good and nonsmokers just like to whine. Being fat is far, far worse than being a smoker. Smoking is a great hobby and it can help boost digestion and cognition. Obviously ...

Re: Bitcoins worth more than gold
The only crypto I'm interested in besides Bitcoin is Ethereum and only because it is more scalable. I even have reservations about Ethereum because I don't think it has reached the necessary momentum to keep going if something happens to Vitalik. He likely took the vaccine so it's a race against time.

If it dips below $50,000 I'll probably buy a little more.

Some Russian scholars consider the Russian civilization to be the inheritors of the glory of Rome after the fall of Byzantium. Dugin once framed the conflict between Russia and the west as a struggle between eternal Rome and eternal Carthage. Of course he also claimed that Russian statecraft comes f...

Russian security forces are now behaving like Wagner mercenaries. They are torturing terrorist suspects and are happy to make a media spectacle out of the sordid business. At least the CIA has the decency to only torture terror suspects in black sites. Journalists actually have to dig for scandalous...

Re: Nosediving passenger plane Boeing 737
According to everyone on Twitter, Boeing just assassinated a whistleblower. I can't be bothered to look into it.
In this week I've read headlines about 3 different incidents involving the forced landing of Boeing planes.
