Re: Big Fire in Siem Reap "Night Market"

"You make her use toilet paper? Is there even a word for that?" Yes, kradaw anamai The first "a" is short and it means hygienic paper. As you must know it is used primarily for the face and not the butt. While you're at it please ask your significant other if she as ever heard of the idiom "dancing...

Re: RURAL CAMBODIAN IDIOMS
It was a Cambodian who first explained it to me, long before I had even met Paeng or started the business. Roads with so many dips and potholes that as you sat in a pickup truck or taxi, you bounced and swayed around in your seat as if dancing. Nothing suspicious. No invention. A Khmer phrase which ...

Re: RURAL CAMBODIAN IDIOMS
I may be wrong, but I was under the impression that 'teuk' in "ot krup teuk" referred not to water, but to decimetres? 10cm is one 'teuk', and therefore 50cm is '5 teuk' and so on. You can say that some one is "ot krup teuk" or "pram boun tuk konlah" (9 and a half tuk), meaning basically 'half a dec...

Russian market sell the diffusers, candles and oil. It is a blend, so not pure essential oil, just for diffusers, but does the trick. Around $2 per bottle.
