All my K440 articles are ruined...
Sorry everyone, Recently I've found every picture I've posted is being held ransom for a "small" fee of $399 a year by photobucket (the site I used to load images to), and if I don't pay up, I'll never be able to link to other websites from photobucket again....which I thought was the point of that ...

Re: Cambodian 5 or 10 year driver's licences
^^My wife deals more with the Cambodian paperwork and document side of things (for obvious reasons), not me, however I just asked her about the licence and I made a mistake in what I said here. For our driver we include provisions in our driver's pay to cover his licence every year, so he renews a y...

Re: Cambodian 5 or 10 year driver's licences
Just regarding the one year price, it's $50 a year, or at least it's what I paid. Our Khmer delivery driver renewed the same time as me and he paid $35 for the year. That was a car licence which covers a 125cc and under motorbike. Didn't as for the 10 year price, sorry. I did mine at the ministry a...

Re: 2017 Car Import Tax Table
I don't know much about newer Hondas in Cambodia. Older Hondas like the 1st and 2nd gen CRV are easier to maintain and sell, that much I do now. I personally really don't like the newer CRV though (I've got one sitting in the U.S., 2015 EX model) and I didn't like how it was so full of nanny safety ...

Re: Rats in my car
As you know, you DON"T want them dying in your car.I had to pull the dash out of a car one time to get to one that had died in the A/C evaporator box. Sorry, but I laughed at the thought of this. Had a rat chew a hole through my air cleaner and then get stuck and die in the venturi of the carb causi...

Re: Rats in my car
I've found baited glue traps clog up with rats very quickly and then you still end up with rats nesting in your vehicle.
Never heard of the powder deterrent though, interesting.

Honda 70 (manual transmission) scooter, $450
Hi K440 members, I need space very badly, so stuff has to go. http://i284.photobucket.com/albums/ll30/akira_suzuki86/Mobile%20Uploads/IMG_1852_zpsolpux2px.jpeg This is a rare daily rider for me that I've owned for almost 3 years now. It's a Honda Giorcub with a 70cc motor 4 STROKE (it is NOT a Giorn...

Re: 2017 Car Import Tax Table
I'd think long and hard about that BDS, if you're near 45k to import a 3 year old CRV/RAV, why not just buy a new Fortuner for 62k from the dealership here with all the perks instead , and save the hassle. Because U.S./Canadian or Japanese manufactured vehicles are vastly superior in quality for th...

Re: Vehicle manufacturing/assembly in Cambodia?
I see, didn't realise it too was a knock down. Good little car though, we hired one in Ho Chi Minh City and quite liked it for the big family. Saw a few in Cambodia recently too.

Re: Vehicle manufacturing/assembly in Cambodia?
^^Yeah, that's what I meant. They make a lineup of industrial trucks, but as mentioned they're pretty awful. I think the Toyota Innova is also start to finish made in Vietnam too but I could be mistaken.

Re: Vehicle manufacturing/assembly in Cambodia?
If you mean actual parts manufacturing, Vietnam does make some of their own stuff. It's really bad though.
