Not sure if you realised it, but Stokely's only contributions are a play on words. He only comes out of his shell when he can throw in some classic one liners. I think he has run out of steam now, so he'll probably just relax and-chill-harder until he has a good one.

I think you've got the wrong picture Stokely - Bonnie Tyler was always a big fan of pearls, so I guess a bit of an oysterman freak!

Re: Life After the Liberation
Interesting, my house in Toul Kork has a few banana trees - I wonder who planted them, tasty all the same! I really struggle with the use of the words "Vietnam invaded" though - in this context it implies an unwelcome aggression, but as far as I see it (call me Putin), it was more of a special opera...

Re: Who has the best English breakfast sausages in Phnom Penh?
If you're looking to cook at home, you can get them delivered by Strokesy's: https://strokesys-meat.business.site/ (can get on Nham24) But Mrs. Spigz who is quite a connoisseur (sausage jokes welcome at this point ...) gets them from Koh Kong Sausage, and I have to say they are slightly less salty; ...

Re: Best shipping options to Cambodia
I had some great fun over Christmas getting a pckage from my sister that contained both new items and also some personal effects. Personal import duty seemed to be 20% on the valuation of the items; for the new stuff I could show invoices, but for the personal stuff it was really just a haggle where...

Can I suggest using an electric motor of some sort, along with a bag of sand just in case. The electric power should be enough to remove such shrubs, and if for any reason you get electrocuted & need your heart restarted, the missus can bury you in the sand and jump over you three times. Just to be ...

How is Elon Musk not even considered? - Trying to ensure the survival of humanity via a colony on Mars. - Leading electronic vehicle tech, revolutionising the way we use cars (and as a V8 loving gas head, I hate it, but tis fact) - Trying to solve city traffic issues via Hyperloop (again I think a n...

Taking tablets is never the answer, you're just masking an underlying problem. If your mind is racing on things going on in your life & you wake up at 3am, write them down on a notepad to get them out of your brain & on paper; your brain will then relax knowing it can pick all those things back up w...
