Must be a very boring group if you all think the same. How in the hell can you all find agreement to every question on a personality test, in a group, compounded by alcohol use. I'm dumbfounded.epidemiks wrote:According to an internet quiz, yes.PorkPiePorn wrote:Thats your group personality?epidemiks wrote:A group of us did this a few weeks back over beers. The problem with the world is stupidity. I'm not saying there should be a capital punishment for stupidity, but why don't we just take the safety labels off of everything and let the problem solve itself?
We don't, and we didn't. Why would we need to find agreement on any question? Are you being deliberately obtuse? We did a scale range quiz at 16personalities.com, averaged our individual responses against the available options - if 2 said strongly agree and 2 said strongly disagree, we answered neutral, etc. After 100 or whatever questions, the result of those responses matched the ENTP-A personality type.PorkPiePorn wrote:Must be a very boring group if you all think the same. Seems like a fun thing to do as a group while drinking, but the result serves absolutely no purpose, would you agree? Thanks for the explanation.epidemiks wrote:We don't, and we didn't. Yes, us humans enjoy frivolous bonding activities whilst we spiral towards pointless lonely death, having made minimal impact on future generations of our species. Try it some time.PorkPiePorn wrote:Seems like a fun thing to do as a group while drinking, but the result serves absolutely no purpose, would you agree? I'm INTP, so i've no emotional response to give. I thought it was the most interesting of these tests I've done - which is about 3 over the years. It's the breakdown I thought interesting. Maybe it's like the Darren Brown personality test though, we love to read about ourselves and we relate to it all because it's about us.
Scobienz, what did you really come out as? Genuinely interested.

So, where are the usual suspects? I was hoping to see motor-mouth's personality analyzed and maybe even chip in for an oil change...
Where are you motor-mouth?

Please don't tell my momma I work in a oil patch. She think's I'm a piano player in a ho house.

"Being a part of the Diplomat Role group, Mediators are guided by their principles, rather than by logic (Analysts), excitement (Explorers), or practicality (Sentinels). When deciding how to move forward, they will look to honor, beauty, morality and virtue – Mediators are led by the purity of their intent, not rewards and punishments. People who share the Mediator personality type are proud of this quality, and rightly so, but not everyone understands the drive behind these feelings, and it can lead to isolation."violet wrote:According to this particular test on this day I am INFP-T (mediator)
"Mediators to communicate deeply with others, easily speaking in metaphors and parables, and understanding and creating symbols to share their ideas. Fantasy worlds in particular fascinate Mediators, more than any other personality type. The strength of their visionary communication style lends itself well to creative works, and it comes as no surprise that many famous Mediators are poets, writers and actors. Understanding themselves and their place in the world is important to Mediators, and they explore these ideas by projecting themselves into their work."
