Instead of going to Starbucks I now make my own coffee, shout out my name incorrectly with a silly accent, then burn the 5$ note.
My posts are just jokes, maybe they're rude, offensive, and politically incorrect. They're not my opinion, viewpoint, idea, or judgement, but they're just fucking jokes so lighten up.

I know its fun and seems to be a a universal joke to say that coffee from starbucks costs $5... but it doesn't. Not even close. You know, for a cup of coffee.Garry Crabtree wrote:Instead of going to Starbucks I now make my own coffee, shout out my name incorrectly with a silly accent, then burn the 5$ note.

I prefer the Cafe Nero coffee too.Bubble T wrote:Fun fact for the day: The UK is the only place in the world where Costa outsells Starbucks in regions where both are active. That's also partly because there are roughly twice as many Costas as there are Starbucks (1992 outlets for Costa vs 849 for Starbucks according to latest data I could find).YaTingPom wrote:My favourite is Costa Coffee, which are just as prevalent as Starbucks in the UK and Ireland
Still waiting for Cafe Nero, best cakes out of all 3 chains.

Most of those 2000 riel coffee shops give free tea with no sugar or milk.violet wrote:i recently asked a seller (street) for an iced tea with no sugar and no milk. she understood me perfectly but was so flummoxed by the idea that she didn't think she had understood me. She said later.. .I have never heard anyone drink it like that. LOL

Do you really prefer to drink coffee in a chain place rather than plastic chair 2000r place? One of the joys of my cycle trip has been having all the regional variations of the local brew and the settings they are in. Laos coffee drained through a sock is the clear winner as that drip drip metal thing that the viets use takes too bloody long.
k440, something to do when you're pissed.

I just bought my first ever Cappuccino from Gloria Jean's on Riverside. USD 5.00 for a medium that was 3/4 ice cubes......kansaicanuck wrote:I know its fun and seems to be a a universal joke to say that coffee from starbucks costs $5... but it doesn't. Not even close. So you bought an Iced Cappuccino - not a coffee. How much was a coffee?Hanno wrote:I just bought my first ever Cappuccino from Gloria Jean's on Riverside. I agree but US$ 2.35 just doesn't have the same ring to it.kansaicanuck wrote:I know its fun and seems to be a a universal joke to say that coffee from starbucks costs $5... but it doesn't. I wouldn't mind sitting on a stool and getting a coffee, for there to go, but I prefer my coffee to be made from, you know, coffee beans, and not soybeans blended with 492 other miscellaneous ingredients, none being caffeine.horace wrote:Do you really prefer to drink coffee in a chain place rather than plastic chair 2000r place? So you haven't been to central Laos or Vietnam! I have seen the coffee beans being roasted grounded in front of my eyes. I drink it black, hot and bitter which may not be everyone's taste.
