Nonsense. It wasn't the ideology that murdered people, it was the manipulation of that ideology by gangsters for self-interest. Stalin was literally a Georgian peasant gangster before he tricked Trotsky and assumed control of the party. Mao Zedong's cruelty and failed policies were down to his arrogance and stupidity, not Marxist ideology.Hot_Pink_Urinal_Mint wrote:Only someone suffering from the disease of peace and prosperity would still support an ideology that has murdered more than 100,000,000 people in the past century.The-Peace-Man wrote: I am a Marxist

All Marxist experiments have lead to massive poverty and death, but its not the ideology that is at fault?springrain wrote:Nonsense. How does that makes sense to you?
None but ourselves can free our mind.
But it will work NEXT TIME, guaranteed! I hope the twatflannels who spout that Marxist idiocy actually get to live in their Marxist paradise somewhere else and leave the rest of us the fuck out of it.Visser wrote:All Marxist experiments have lead to massive poverty and death, but its not the ideology that is at fault?springrain wrote:Nonsense. Marx's Utopian Political Theories don't factor in human nature and can only ever work on a very small scale. Observation of the implementation of these theories over the years has clearly demonstrated that, which is why Academic Marxists have "rebranded" the oppressor.

in fact they do..it's just that he didn't have a fixed view of human nature...he understood that human nature was not something that existed outside of society...i'd be interested in your description of human nature?Marx's Utopian Political Theories don't factor in human nature
why?can only ever work on a very small scale
what it's demonstrated is that people bastardize ideas and turn them into ideology for their own (political) ends...happens all the time in all forms...Observation of the implementation of these theories over the years has clearly demonstrated that,

Have you bought a thriving forum in England in another blatant attempt to buy yourself into a social life there only to run that forum into the ground too, you gawky, pathetic Playboy wannabe?

Believe me, it was a total identity crisis for me when I got the news that Bernie was quitting. Who am I politically without his movement? I had several things in my personal life that were also showing me how liberalism is a total failure at that time in the summer of 2016. After one such traumatic experience, I went to a Trump rally, and the feeling was just electric. Yes indeed, conservatism is the new counter-culture!
I decided to secretly switch, and then kept my mouth shut IRL and online except with a few very close and trusted friends. The peer pressure to vote Clinton was unbearable. As a rule, I pretty much never waste my vote on a candidate that has no chance of winning.
So there are 4 factors , conservative, liberal, establishment, and radical. So first Radical Conservative Trump obsolesces Establishment Conservative Jeb Bush. (And gets no thanks for it from Liberals!) Then Establishment Liberal obsolesces Radical Liberal Sanders. Then The Radical Conservative defeats, but not obsolesces, the Establishment Liberal. And all the so called ‘Radicals’ start crying and bellyaching. But I am more concerned with maximizing and protecting the people ‘s voting power and the principle of the thing. If you let a cheater win, they just come back and cheat even worse next time. As voters, we must remain ever vigilant against the expansion of their power and the reduction of ours. The Chinese gave up their power for security, and in the end, they got neither.
So from my perspective, the movement that Sanders represented is obsolete, dead, and gone. Sure I would like single payer health care, but that’s not happening. I’m just trying to maintain our ability to get rid of bad leaders when necessary. The Chinese couldn’t get rid of Xi Jinping if they wanted to. I have no loyalty to any party. In order for us to be effective agitators for our freedom and power, we must occasionally go right as well as left. And 2016 was the time to agitate on the right. To always stay on the left is to be too predictable, and thus easily taken advantage of. The shell game of 2016 finally broke their predictable pattern and actually put the better candidate under the Republican shell. And Hillary’s loss is the best thing for the Democratic Party too. Can you imagine how corrupt they would have been if DWS and HRC had actually gotten away with it? They better come correct next time! Don’t you fucking dare rig the primary and expect us to vote for you! I hope you can see that my perspective is structural, it’s super big picture in terms of keeping our democracy strong and uncorrupted. These hysterical liberals are like termites in our superstructure. You can see how in 3rd world countries, how similar it is, all this Chicken Little hullabaloo causing subjective thinking people to make exceptions to our principles and laws , override objectivity, and before you know it, the election is canceled. And it’s too late.
I may vote democrat again, but I will never vote for Bernie Sanders again. He is a pussy ass bitch who quit when everyone needed him. He was too scared to stand up to the Clintons, how is he going to stand up for us? He is such a pussy that he ran away from Alex Jones when they bumped into each other at LAX!

I'm not going to engage in a back and forth with you on this. As a rule I don't debate fascists or their sympathisers. I am making an exception this one time because you are an old friend and because I am seriously starting to question your mental stability.
So this is my last post on this. I don't usually post on here, I have better things to do and you will only reply with some wall of print brain vomit rant that barely engages with anything I wrote.
But I do have a question.
You voted for Sanders, which means you saw there was a left alternative to Clinton, then Sanders got betrayed so you switched your allegiance to a far right white supremacist. What about policy? What about values. Sanders represented the polar opposite to Trump in both policy and values. Do those policies not matter to you?
Sanders campaigned for single payer universal health care. Trumps first act was to tear up the limited gains of Obamacare leaving millions without health care. Do you no longer care about social service provision for working people and the poor? In the UK the NHS was one of the greatest gains of the Labour movement and 48 Labour government. It represented and still represents a huge victory for working people. Free health care, no questions asked at the point of use funded by progressive taxation. Does this no long interest you? If not why vote for Sanders?
Sanders supported fee free tuition. Again pigs will fly before Trump sees such progressive provision.
Sanders supported progressive taxation of the wealthy and understood that the primary division in society is class inequality. Trump handed tax cuts to the rich (and to himself) How do you logically justify switching your allegiance from a democratic socialist who wanted to fund social provision from taxing the wealthy to a multi millionaire who lives in a gold tower and who is using the presidency to enrich himself and his family? Where is the consistency or logic in that?
You are right. I am a Marxist and it is because I am a Marxist that I understand the primary division of society and the primary conflict driving history is class. Because you do not grasp this fundamental principle, you are like a fish trapped in roaring waters, lost and battered by the currents and with no basis on which to anchor your principles. Because you fail to understand that class and class conflict is what separates the interests of ordinary working people from the likes of Trump, you see no issue with changing your allegiance from someone who calls for extended social provision for working people and someone who wants to take it away to fund tax breaks for his wealth friends while scapegoating religious minorities and migrants for the country's woes.
This is the last post I will be making on this or any other topic. Its boring, its pointless and I have better things to do. I wish you and your son well in the dystopian hell hole you are so keen on creating

Happy 4th of July to all friends of the United States of America! And here’s a link to Larouche PAC, who can do a much better job of explaining how it is really England, not the US, that is the most evil country in the world! Our foolish need to get the approval of our malignant parent country and fall in line with the international order has led us to betray the sovereignty movements of Sun Yat Sen’s China, Ho Chi Minh’s Vietnam, Mossadeq’s Iran, and many more! But through Larouche PAC’s connections with Trump and the People ‘s Republic of China, our leadership as the main exporter of war will be replaced by gigantic FDR style ‘make-work’ projects such as the Chinese ‘One Belt One Road’ initiative. We will unite the world through creating enormous land bridges and end poverty through the power of commerce and CAPITALISM!
