Home protection
What do people use for home protection, inside the home? The American brethren probably have guns, but do you keep mase, a taser, etc inside your homes just in case of a midnight visitor that’s not your side piece?

I live in a place in which Spider-Man could not access yet the homebuilders decided to build the regular set of jail cell bars on the insides of the windows. Needless to say it's going to be a lot of fun when they need to replace the windows, and the screens are an impossible total pain in the ass to clean.... I also keep a bazooka on the lasses side of the bed.
I, also have a Khmer wife.Spigzy wrote:I have a Khmer wife.

1. What? How's it impenetrable without bars? You live in a bunker? Up a sheer cliff? You got wide-awake trained security guards at every entry point?kansaicanuck wrote:I live in a place in which Spider-Man could not access yet the homebuilders decided to build the regular set of jail cell bars on the insides of the windows. 2. I hate when you cant clean the outside of windows or the screen due to an obstruction.
3. Is the bazooka on her side of the bed so as you reach across you can have a quickie in case it's your last ever opportunity?

1. well I suppose the only place that someone could get in would be the front door which has more bars and locks on it than the windows. Seems pretty damn secure. I'm on the 3rd / 4th floor. The kitchen bedroom and living room windows have nothing around them except the building wall that goes down 4 floors. I guess if the thieves have a 50 foot ladder they would still have to deal with The Wretched jail bars on the windows, and the screens being so dirty sometimes they probably would shy awayviolet wrote:1. 2. Yes. Total pain in the ass. Living by the river the breeze comes in which is nice, but the amount of black shit that collects on the window screens is unbelievable and it sucks cleaning them out.
3. None of your damn business. But yes...
Good luck opening your padlock in time if you ever wake up to the place on fire and full of smoke and the electricity out at 3am.newnewnewbie wrote:An enforced padlock on the main entrance between 8pm and 6am, guns are so 1995.

Yeah that would be just terrible, but the hi-rank who owns the place and occupies to two bottom floors, would probably do something about that before it gets that far. But thanks.. eh. dude.
