Shopping malls have got to be ground zero as far as spreading a virus gos no?
If we dont all go back to work by the 11th, i will run up and down the high street naked, coughing my guts up, carrying a hankerchief.

They have a quite different social structure to the UK (and many other places). The socialist tendency of much of the population means that many people and companies are following government advice regarding working from home and social isolation without the need for legislative coercion. Add to that the the fact that a very large percentage of the urban population live in single person households.spitthedog wrote: ↑Mon Apr 20, 2020 3:23 pmSweden has not implemented a lockdown and their Corona numbers are slightly less than the UK.
Why?

Hit me up when you get back for a cycle, I’m starting to pick it up a bit. Thinking of cycling to Kep (175 km) in a few weeks, which would certainly be a single day record for me (the previous being a three day Passau Germany to Vienna 300km run about 15 years ago). Wish me luck.

175k in one day would smash my one day record which is 155k. TBH unless the conditions are favourable, tail wind n decent roads I would not attempt any ride over 150k again, and after six weeks of no cycling I reckon I would struggle to do 50k !Miguelito wrote: ↑Tue Apr 21, 2020 7:56 amHit me up when you get back for a cycle, I’m starting to pick it up a bit. Swiss boarding school? I always picked him as the type of Yank that went to the UK and the Continent on a 6-week study tour and came back wearing soccer jerseys, thinking they were the epitome of sophistication.
