Lockdown??
What lockdown?
If you were/are an essential worker, life hasn't changed much at all.

To be honest, I'm quite OK to go into a self imposed lockdown on my 2 days off per week, even without a contagious disease on the loose.Iridesce wrote: ↑Sat Jan 15, 2022 7:53 pm...here man.. try it... it's like "The. World."spitthedog wrote: ↑Sat Jan 15, 2022 7:39 pmLockdown??

Well, feel free to try Covid-19 yourself. Assuming you are a fat 'merican freedom Republican guy, you have a 10% chance to die. Good luck, enjoyIridesce wrote: ↑Sat Jan 15, 2022 7:30 pmI honestly get the impression some of you just love lockdowns...that you love big government directing every waking aspect of your lives...that you love travel restrictions..that you love wearing face underwear; a muzzle.
Open your eyes and look around!
Are people dropping in their tracks??
'Yeah, I know someone who got it, but it only lasted a few days and wasn't that bad'.
The great majority of deaths are due to already aged people or those with co-morbidities like obesity, in which all Americans would be dead, apparently, right?
You just swallow statistics from agenda driven political theatres like they're gospel.
For example, you honestly believe that Cambodia is nearly 100% vaccinated?--Really??--from the same government strongman that declared ONE HUNDRED PERCENT UNANIMOUS VICTORY in the "election" of 2018!?
Apparently Americans are waay different from the rest of the world in their general approach to "fnck this! king bullshit--i'm going to America'! I mean that mostly in regards to The US, but it's evident in ALL the Americas.
Cambodia was like a reverse version of that!, and now I hear so many like, 'GOVERN ME HARDER. .BABY'. I wonder where that actually comes from, naivety of impressionable youth (whatever happened to Rebellion??)? or old men shivering in their flip-flops trying to 'speak teenager'?
....
There are plenty a things people are dying of daily waay more than Covid.
...
Go ahead, call me a blar bluh blah, whatever some pundit makin' a buck told you to call me. Go on, if it makes you feel a little more special. Just like petty tyranny and victimhood, It's'Trending'.
And you call yourself "Adventurous"..
lol.
No, I don't like vaccinations, lockdowns and travel restrictions, though I also realize, there are little other options available to avoid roughly 150-250 million deaths, world-wide.

↑ CO. MORBIDITIES.
It's only been this past month that places like The US & Australia are seperating died FROM Covid & died WITH Covid, statistically.
That's more than mere oversight--scientists that they all are.
But, you know, test for covid based off of race first, because "not racism", while standing knee deep in snow, to hell with cancer therapy!

Holy fuck you're full of yourself for someone who just got cut off from their allowance and had to get a job a few months ago. If "living" is rolled up in a tarp on the side of the road next to your pee-wee herman bike then fuck it.spitthedog wrote: ↑Sat Jan 15, 2022 11:30 pmIridesce wrote: ↑Sat Jan 15, 2022 11:21 pm"Too much time" says the guy who bivy tarps it under freeway overpasses in third world countries for fun.spitthedog wrote: ↑Sat Jan 15, 2022 8:37 pmTo be honest, I'm quite OK to go into a self imposed lockdown on my 2 days off per week, even without a contagious disease on the loose.Iridesce wrote: ↑Sat Jan 15, 2022 7:53 pm...here man.. try it... it's like "The. Couldn't agree with this sentiment more. The average age of death is still around the mid-80s and what some people fail to accept is that within this age range, people do die. Whether it's with COVID/the flu/the common cold - whatever.Iridesce wrote: ↑Sat Jan 15, 2022 7:30 pmI honestly get the impression some of you just love lockdowns...that you love big government directing every waking aspect of your lives...that you love travel restrictions..that you love wearing face underwear; a muzzle.

At some point, it has to be declared endemic. Research from Kenya and now the UK absolutely point to that point having been reached with DELTA. There is no way that the UK will continue with any restrictions after 26th January so long as Boris is still leader as he has said he would bring that to a vote in parliament and everyone knows he could.only get it through with the opposition's support for the second time. His only choice is to remove all restrictions from that date and what a relief that will be.

The Covid survivors, and especially the non infected, and people whose family members have not suffered, think Covid is no big deal.
Whereas the dead think we could have done more.
Covid is real.
It officially became real, 2 weeks ago Wednesday.

Like what? Pull up a naval hospital ship in New York harbor, let it sit idle while the governor moves covid patients to nursing homes resulting in hundreds of deaths??
Or maybe Australia needs more internment camps in Darwin? Or a harder lockdown in Melbourne?
Maybe more steel jacks blocking the streets in Vietnam, more photocopied food chits?
Maybe no-one needs to work or exercise ever again, just sit and watch The Libs bank it hyperventilating propaganda while we turn into unwatered houseplants!
Maybe we should condition our kids some more?-masks, plexiglass dividers, rope leashes. How adorable!
Again and again for two years we have multiple worldwide experiences. Most is no. big. deal. You get sick--you get over it. But not with the Nu variant! Not with the Xi variant!
And we seem to forget most people are catching it IN THE FUCKING HOSPITAL! where they test for it! How convenient!
Bedda uh, gedda, second opinion!
And just now the CDC is coming out and saying there is a division between died OF or died WITH!
How convenient the Biden administration is also no longer tallying covid deaths!
As Thomas Dolby said--"SCIENCE!"
Did we stop the world because of Malaria?? Because of Mosquito borne illness?
I've been tested like fifty times, been traveling everywhere, got sick a few times on whatever.
You don't have a strong sense of rationale son.
You need to put down the pipe before they
TooL AND DIE you!
And, "Be sure to wear a mask",
because, I don't wanna hear about it.

My point is, if you catched Covid tomorrow and it went long Covid, you'd more than likely have a totally opposite opinion.
Opinions are like arseholes. Everybody has one.

True, though it should be pointed out that health authorities globally have come to the unanimous conclusion that vaccines for COVID are a good idea.
Internet researchers appear to offer a somewhat more diverse range of opinions.
