Babyboom
Babyboom
Was strolling around a bit today, and it struck me how many pregnant women there were. Looked like every other woman was very pregnant, and about half of the rest were just a little pregnant. So are we walking into a babyboom of epic dimensions? Or is this just business as usual?

It's possible. Too many people cooped up together for a bit too long.
Romantic Cambodia is dead and gone. It's with McKinley in the grave.

Afghanistan also has one of the highest fertility rates in the world, with an average of 5.3 children born per woman. it is the most unhappy countries in the world according to world happiness rankings.Stork wrote: ↑Sun Apr 10, 2022 4:44 amKhmer fertility is famous worldwide. Happy country.
There are even religions for it.
The worlds sad countries have declining fertility.
Cambodia ranks
114th.

And 77th highest birthrate in the world. Cambodia's birthrate was twice as high as today in the late 1970's, not particularly happy times.
Not to call bullshit or anything. Lucan's response is far more factual.

The Cambodian National Institute of Statistics (CNIS) reports that teenage pregnancies amongst adolescents aged 15–19 years have increased from 8% in 2010 to 12% in 2014.
Yes, thousands of single 15, 16, 17 and
18 year olds are this morning celebrating their good fortune. They even have religions about it I heard from a "reliable" source.
With the advent of more and more junk food, perhaps some of those you saw were just fat?

Looked like it. But this was on a side-road from one of the factories I particularly noted it.YaTingPom wrote: ↑Sun Apr 10, 2022 11:10 amWe’re you in a maternity unit?Rune wrote: ↑Sat Apr 09, 2022 8:50 pmWas strolling around a bit today, and it struck me how many pregnant women there were. Cambodia is just nr. 79
78 New Zealand 1.39
79 Cambodia 1.38
They have more babies coming out in New Zealand than here, go figure.
