Hi, I am new here and this is my first posting. I am planning on visiting later this year to scope out the retirement situation. I only plan on staying a few months a year. I am a professional fitness equipment tech and certified pool / spa operator with 31 years in the industry. I will not be looking for work. I have some legitimate questions that I need local expertise with. My apologies if this has been asked a million times. I am fairly heathy but require some medicine. So here we go. Can a person still go to a pharmacy without a prescription and get Xanax or Diazapam? Yes, I have GAD, an anxiety disorder. Am I a dope head? NO! My last visit to PP was around 2010 and it was sold over the counter. I am only interested in lawful transactions. I very much would appreciate any information. Thanks Much!
Dave in Henderson, NV.

The situation will be similar to what you experienced in 2010. Fairly easy to find anything without a prescription

Nothing has changed, easy to get both of those, purchased both 2 weeks ago in PP near central market at one of the pharmacies over the counter

Hello Phuket2006, can you tell me if Oxycontin or Hydrocodone or similar are available? I have tried to contact pharmacies direct with no response.
Thank you!
Thank you!
You will never get a response from local businesses, do don't waste your time emailing or phoning.
You've already said you're planning on doing a scoping visit. Surely it's just a question of doing that and wandering around and seeing what they have?
The conventional wisdom is that pharmacies sell every conceivable prescription drug over the counter, either the original version or a generic version.
Thanks again for your time. My tickets are booked for October 13th flying into HCMC and then bus to PP after a rest. I don't know a soul in town.
