I am genuinely interested also any information on Battambang or even Koh Kong?
I guess the latter has the beaches but how much of a backwater is it,I remember the good old days of 'Bob Bar' owned by an Aussie presumably named Bob,who seemed happy to welcome anyone with a similar looking face for a few beers on his terrace?
Siem Reap is it just excruciatingly boring plus don't stray too far from the path due to unexploded ordnance?
You can rent a pool villa mansion there for USD $1,000 or less but will that become nothing but a gilded cage, plus where are the original owners of these resort-sized properties anyway?
What is living in the province in Siem Reap like?
"happy to welcome anyone with a similar looking face" wtaf does that mean?Calcetin wrote: ↑Wed Jun 07, 2023 6:52 pmI am genuinely interested also any information on Battambang or even Koh Kong?

As for Siem Reap. No need to worry about unexploded ordnance there; but be careful where you walk; it's very easy to step on an unexploded and previously unidentified western nonce. The area hasn't been properly de-nonced yet, so enter at your own risk.
You've never visited Australia have you?Publius Varinius wrote: ↑Wed Jun 07, 2023 7:24 pm"happy to welcome anyone with a similar looking face" wtaf does that mean?Calcetin wrote: ↑Wed Jun 07, 2023 6:52 pmI am genuinely interested also any information on Battambang or even Koh Kong?
