Where is it located?
House looks like any other khmer stilt house to me but the land on the Mekong definitely sparked my interest.

Me too.
What's the story? I don't really understand the OP.

Mekong Homes are high quality, and affordable homes for rural people. The homes are made from modern materials, prefabricated in the factory and then constructed by skilled builders who are trained and qualified by Mekong Homes.

I'm not a negative person, I encourage people all the time...it's usually to f**k off! But, whatever.

Their shop has a little more easily navigable format.

They sell 4 standardized models for a very good price.
The photo I posted is from their Phnom Penh open air showroom. I visited two weeks ago and had a good chat with the staff. I do intend to buy their largest model on stilts and build my own kitchen & bathroom below it. It's not a perfect house (metal parts) but it comes with 5 years warranty and is attractive imho.
They build it for you on your land in about 3 weeks, so that might remove some headaches compared to building one yourself from scratch using those crappy Cambodian bricks.

What sort of price? The website says $1 each.
Romantic Cambodia is dead and gone. It's with McKinley in the grave.
The largest house on stilts, 6 x 9 m = $10,099 (no kitchen & bathroom, which they offer for $1250 either inside the house, below or separate, but I will decline).
Transportation is $400.
Optional: 4 slope roofing: $350; electricity installation: $290. If you plan to have aircon installed, a ceiling for each room will be $300 per.

They look like great value. Are they steel framed? Internally lined with what?

One of those with a toilet and air-con installed on a nice plot of land next to the Mighty Mekong is my idea of bliss what more does anyone need?
