After using a recommended garage for my car (CRV) and having to take it back for them to do the job it went in for more than once I have eventually found a very reliable, honest garage.
They are called Ouch Vannak Garage (016274027/068274027) and are on the CT Clinic road - from the clinic going away from the small market and Charlie Harpers direction (Who now sell Cambodia beer on draft, as well as Anchor, plus quiz nights on Thursdays, now Kangeroo is shut!) just before the small bridge on the right is the old boarded up gas station (LHR). The garage is next to them just after.
Owner speaks English and explains what they are doing and gives a price. Even left the windows slightly open so as to not get the inside too hot for when I picked the car up!
Last garage I used my car went for a service. After I picked the car up I checked underneath to look at the oil filter and how black the oil was. Nope. Not changed either.
Went back and he said "Verry sorry we change now". "What about the oil?" I asked, "Yes definitely changed I saw him" he told me (they actually did the sump gasket and it make sense to drain the oil first).
He comes back to me after talking to his mechanic. "Oh sorry, not change oil. Put back in. We do now ok?"
Er.....WTF!
They also change stuff with old and charge new. Often it does not need changing or they just do it and don't ask.
So anyway. I can't name and shame but if you happen to break down near the small market I suggest you push it home or up the hill to Ouch Vannak! Wink wink
