I don't like the styling at all, it looks like the new Defender. I'm sure it will be popular in Cambodia though, and would guess it will cost more like $120,000 here.

ONG plates are very rare now, and brand new Land cruisers driven by NGOs are not something I have seen in a long, long time.

What do you think they drive? They drive anything they want which is available and meets their needs. There isn’t a NGO club where we get together and decide what vehicles we will drive.

Personally, I love it. Anyone who has driven a Toyota/Lexus product lately knows the group has its’ tail up.
There is much gnashing of teeth among fellow Petrol Heads over in the US since they nixed the 300 Series from the local market, leaving only the hugely expensive LX.
With the balls out design, I suspect the 250 (and GX) are intended to plug the gap left behind by the 300 in the US. There’s a better than likely chance they will sell a lot too, given the hysterical obsession with 4Runners over there.
Conversely, and much to my chagrin, the Prado is everywhere over here but they denied us the GX (until now). Once the lease is up on our NX (which has been truly outstanding btw and highly recommended to anyone looking for a mid-size SUV) I’m going to get me one of those GXs and go bother ricecakes .
