Ever since global warming became a thing and sea level rise an issue, the USA has been secretly jacking up the level of the country. Most places are now thousands of feet above sea level, so water boils much faster now than in most of England.
However, in the coming centuries, as high tide marks continue to rise, the areas now thousands of feet above sea level will be, relatively speaking, back to where they were. Then will water boil at 100 C again?
