How YOU can harness ChatGPT without being a tech whiz: From applying for jobs to choosing a weight-loss program, our easy step-by-step guide walks you through the powers of the AI
ChatGPT can summarise documents, write reports and create recipes
It's free to use and easy to access from PC or smartphone
ChatGPT launched last November and has taken the world by storm, unlike any other technology since the dawn of the smartphone.
You have probably seen examples on social media of the AI giving eerily human responses to obscure prompts — but the chatbot can actually be used to carry out a large number of basic daily tasks that could save you time and money.
It is easy (and free) to use ChatGPT and can be used to do anything from writing work reports to creating diet plans and helping you apply for jobs.
So whether you want to use it on a desktop, tablet or cellphone, DailyMail.com walks you through it with a step-by-step tutorial below:
Getting started
ChatGPT (it stands for Generative Pre-trained Transformer) is a ‘large language model’ which can produce convincing, human-like answers to almost any question.
There is no mobile or desktop applications for the chatbot at present (be warned, there are a lot of fake apps claiming to be ChatGPT, so sidestep these at all costs).
Instead, you access it via your browser — Chrome, for example — on a phone, desktop PC or Mac via creator OpenAI’s website — which you can visit here.
To use it, you’ll need to set up an OpenAI account. The easiest way to do this is to sign in with a Google account, but you can also opt to set up your own email and password.
Either way, you will need to authenticate via a cellphone number - this will then be linked to that OpenAI account (and you won’t be able to set up further accounts with that number).
Once you’ve done so, you can use that account to log in either on your smart device or on PC or Mac (bookmark the page if you want to at this point).

Here is a cover letter for sales jobs it wrote for me instantly :
Dear Hiring Manager,
I am excited to submit my application for the Sales position at your esteemed company. With [insert timespan] years of experience in sales, I have developed a strong understanding of the sales cycle and a proven track record of exceeding sales targets.
As a sales professional, I have honed my ability to build long-lasting relationships with clients through effective communication and a customer-centric approach. My experience has equipped me with the skills necessary to identify and pursue new business opportunities, as well as to manage existing accounts to ensure repeat business.
One of my greatest strengths is my ability to adapt to changing market conditions and to think creatively to identify solutions that meet both the needs of the client and the goals of the company. Additionally, I am a natural collaborator and enjoy working in a team environment to achieve shared objectives.
In my current position at Energy Efficient Insulation, I have consistently achieved sales targets and have been recognised for my ability to build strong relationships with clients. I am confident that my skills and experience make me a strong candidate for this role, and I am excited about the opportunity to bring my passion and drive to your team.
Thank you for considering my application. I look forward to the opportunity to discuss my qualifications further.
Sincerely,

It said "not available in your region" so I assume the only way to access it from Cambo is to use a VPN?
You also need to supply aphone number from an acknowledged country.webmaster wrote: ↑Fri Mar 24, 2023 9:54 amIt said "not available in your region" so I assume the only way to access it from Cambo is to use a VPN?
Usual Daily Fail guff doesn't belong in a forum for Cambodia, interesting though the topic is.
btw, I'm using Bing AI here.

Yes and no. I had a play around with it a while back. While it's good and even great at some tasks it will just spin some bullshit rather than admit defeat if it doesn't know. I guess maybe that makes it human.
"Goodness me! Now STD free..."
I've been using Bing AI for hours daily. What I can say is it lies - A LOT. Hilariously so. I can see the potential - in a year the online world will be a very different place, but right now you can't trust what they tell you.

Some examples of the differences between 3.5 and 4 with written tasks.
I liked the trolley dilemma one
Overall -4 is less obviously a non-human responding, and seems more intelligent to me

You.com has a chatbot that is pretty good and only requires an e-mail to register. It's an older version of OpenAI, but probably just as good. Bing has one too, but it is slow and cumbersome.webmaster wrote: ↑Fri Mar 24, 2023 9:54 amIt said "not available in your region" so I assume the only way to access it from Cambo is to use a VPN?
That being said, the amount of media/political hype surrounding chat bots is an indication of how dumb the establishment is. This technology is NOT AI or even close to it. It's a sophisticated parrot that reads everything on wikipedia/quora/reddit/etc and then takes an average of the opinions and spits it out in a well written essay.
What is impressive about it is that it has nearly perfect English grammar. Thus it is game changing not because it is AI, but because it has rendered high school essays obsolete. ChatGPT can write any essay for you in less than 15 seconds.
