Robert Schmalohr Arrested by Cambodian Authorities
Where's the evidence that Gallagher knew he was working in a scam? The dude works a shit-ton of projects and continues to do so to this day - implying that enough people in the business/entertainment industry trust him despite his previous dealings with Schmalohr. When Mr. Money-Bags turns up to you door offering to fund your project, while remiss, it isn't reflective of an individual's character to take that person at face value.
- It's called due diligence, even if he was too lazy to do it for himself he had a duty to investigate before involving his clients and associates in the scam. He was well aware of what he was doing, it was obvious to everyone and was called out early on both Khmer440 and CEO, yet he continued to take hand outs and operate the investment scam.
The continuing support of the Phnom Penh business and entertainment industry for Brendan speaks volumes compared to the dubious claims from faceless 'guest' accounts on this forum.
- I'm sure the 260,000 Euros in his pocket has nothing to do with the continued support. Money talks in Cambodia, just ask Herr Robert
I consider Gallagher successful in his ability to move to Cambodia, with a hand-full of industry experience from back home, and break into a foreign entertainment market and do very well for himself. Many folk try to do this, and most fail which is why I believe this to just be a case of TPS.
- You seem very credulous and are clearly not impartial when it comes to Brendan Gallagher.

What's the link between Kampuchea Party Republic and former British Ambassador, Bill Longhurst? Did he spend time on Sabay Sabay street?violet wrote: ↑Sat Apr 23, 2022 7:37 pmI hadn’t remembered about Kampuchea Party Republic being part of all this (I followed the link in the post above and reread the article). I attempted a trip down memory lane to look at a few of KPR’s photos, and was wondering if his business survived covid, I couldn’t find it on FB. I did find this, clicked on the link, and found it led to this guy who now has 1.8m followers - I guess he bought the FB name/page. I wonder how much was paid.
That's a coincidence I think.Guest wrote: ↑Sun Apr 24, 2022 12:15 amGGI Law is 'disgraced lawyer' Shaan Steven's international law firm.

I have no idea if there is a link beyond KPR doing what he does - photographing at glitzy events.Guest wrote: ↑Sun Apr 24, 2022 4:10 am

That just happened to be the last remaining reference and working link I could find on a quick look at FB. The working link links to the Cambodian gentleman

I meant that Steve Morrish's business having the same initials was probably a coincidence. The links between Shaan and Robert are tight.

Was still in Cambodia in December. A post from 2020Guest wrote: ↑Fri May 22, 2020 8:27 amWhat happened to Shaan Stevens? Is he still in Cambodia. He used to live above a massage shop on the riverside, next to the cluster of happy pizza places, with a younger man he called Matty (Matte?) and said they were father and son. He also had a fat, obnoxious bulldog.
Robert, if you were duped by scammers, and some of them are still in Cambodia, why would you want to come back? Do you think the competent authorities are going to help you in some way? Have you been blacklisted from entering?

Oh I now see the Khmer lawyer who bought or was gifted the 1.8M followers of Kampuchea Party Republic FB page is named in the front page article published by wpadmin and written by Gallagher as Schmalohr’s lawyer

I met Shaan long before there was anything on Khmer440 about him. He had many different business cards with his name on them. When I got home I googled. Never considered using him or his "services" after that. There should be lots of old info here. Just search.

I don't know exactly when but the owner of KPR sold it years ago.
