Hospital refuses to treat man with heart attack because he is a foreigner
I lasted 1 minute into the video. It had to be terminated.

Cut the man some slack, how many friends have we lost or their conditions made worse because Khmers doctors don’t respect their oath?
Now Louis, it also happens to khmer people and you should know better than exposing yourself on fb like that.

I've only ever seen one person have a heart attack and he didn't look much like that...
To be fair to the doctors. They are very overstretched at the minute and an outwardly ok looking fella comes in ranting and raving then I can understand them wanting to get rid of him.
So many things could have happened which isn't on video.
Was he told to go elsewhere?
Is Russian hospital even taking walk-ins at the minute?
Did he have insurance/means to pay?
I'm guessing he is new to Cambodia...and understand that he is stressed and in pain. But making a scene, shouting and being aggressive is not the best way to get positive attention here.
Hope he got good care elsewhere and has recovered.
To be honest i'd have to be pretty far gone before I'd allow myself to be taken to Russian hospital...

Which was all document, this person was also a foreigner who was grossly mistreated by this hospital about 8 months ago, which I have document evidence of.
Let me explain why you're a nutter.
The way things work in Cambodia is that anywhere, at any moment, when you need something done, especially medical treatment, a Cambodian person may say "Cannot." Doesn't matter if you're foreigner or Khmer. There are lots os stories about ambulances starving right by the injured, or stopping and gawking and the injured and not taking them. Or clinics telling people who show up sick or injured to fuck right off, because they have no doctors, or no machines, or no desire to get off their ass to help. That's Cambodia.
So if you really think you're about to die, and a hospital tells you they can't treat you, then what a sane person does is leave immediately and go somewhere else. Taking out your phone and waving it at people and documenting them saying no for twenty minutes is not what sane dying people do.
Fortunately you weren't having a heart attack, you're just mentally ill or were having a bad reaction to something and thought you were having a heart attack. And the staff probably sussed that out too.

Fair enough, but I don't understand why anyone would leave those crude messages next to such a picture.LouisD wrote: ↑Thu Mar 25, 2021 3:47 amThis is a picture of me innocently playing with my Son in the UK, the crude disgusting writing on the side is from a Cambodian man talking about his partner, he does not understand that picture was from 2017, he thinks it's his wife and telling me I'm with his wife.Lucky Lucan wrote: ↑Wed Mar 24, 2021 11:18 pmI had a quick look and this came up. It's a picture of me and my son playing hide and seek from 2017!!! idiot.
the crude talk from this person, not me, as you can see, who is a disgruntled khmer man, who's wife left him because he beat her is nothing to do with this photo from the UK before I'd ever been to Cambodia, but he was crazy and didn't realize, you can clearly see the date, 2017.
This is the original picture from my facebook, which you obviously left out the piece of text I put with it, which shows me and my Son playing hide and seek

There are lots of stories about ambulances driving right by the injured*
Barang_doa_slae, I think, had the right attitude. The OP might not be a drama queen, but this episode makes it look that way.
Khmer Hospitals can be shit. (I remember chatting with Bert Hoak maybe a week after the Bodyguards grenade attack, he suddenly burst out sobbing recalling the famous charity hospital just a block away refusing to treat bloody women and children.) However, most hospitals worldwide have instituted strict Covid-19 admittance policies. Many, a year ago, were asking anyone who could walk and talk to phone in first, even if already waiting in a tent outside the front doors. Those hospitals wouldn't do exactly that now, they are more familiar with Covid. But Cambodia had a lucky first 12 months. Hospital hysteria is building now.
If you were healthy enough to rant and film, they figured, you were healthy enough to go somewhere with better English and more desire to earn some of your money. Which hospital or clinic did you visit right after your video?

I don't think Khmer doctors would even be aware of what the "Hippocratic Oath" is, let alone practice it. Certainly if they do, then they really don't understand it.Barang_doa_slae wrote: ↑Thu Mar 25, 2021 7:45 am... because Khmers doctors don’t respect their oath?
Any Cambodian trained doctors on the forum, or relatives of, who perhaps could confirm if the oath taken for granted in the West is sworn on here? If so, explain the commonplace lack of treatment without cash up front ...

There is nothing that will make you appreciate the NHS more than spending time in another country - like our beloved Cambodia.Spigzy wrote: ↑Thu Mar 25, 2021 2:29 pmI don't think Khmer doctors would even be aware of what the "Hippocratic Oath" is, let alone practice it. I wonder if being spoiled by the NHS for many years has led this British 'heart attack' victim to have much too high expectations of hospitals here.
You are funny Stokely and I enjoy your posts, but you better be damn careful!
Right now you have posted 665 times. Once more, and Damned for all eternity, 666, sign of the beast! DON"T REPLY!!!

A real anyone would go to the closest place considering my heart health history, which is what I did. I was not there to impress them, neither should my Tattoos have anything to do with the matter.
You can't not treat someone in a hospital because they have Tattoos, the bloody security guard shouting the racist crap at me had tattoos.
Tattoos are nothing to do with it, there were people in the emergency with Tattoos, this is the most irrational logic I've ever heard probably ever in my life, well done.
