I don't think ur friend will get vaxed in kampot. He needs proof of residence from the local sangkat in order to get the shot.

"We are turning into a nation of whimpering slaves to Fear—fear of war, fear of poverty, fear of random terrorism, or suddenly getting locked up in a military detention camp on vague charges of being a Terrorist sympathizer." HST
We went elsewhere for our jabs. Landlords brother blah blah.
I felt quite bad queue jumping as there were lots of people who lived there waiting in line.
However. I’m white and from a much superior country so it’s my right to go first before these farmers and coconut sellers, even the old dude who I had to push out the way because he wasn’t observing social distancing. It’s ok though he didn’t know it was me as he was blind. Haha. In your face old blind guy.

Which is why you choose to live here, right?
I know you're being sarcastic, btw, just throwing this in here for those that don't and that still think a non-white God blesses their white supremacist country.
I’d like your post but you’re a guest so I can’t.
(Unless it’s me)

You can be vaccinated in Phnom Penh from August 9 to September 8 in Preah Ang Duong hospital and the National Maternal and Child Health Center.
got my 2nd in Kampot yesterday on the day it was due. whole process took 65 minutes mostly of course waiting in the queue outside but that's ok there were no specific appointment times just turn up on the day. They first check you in against a paper record of your first visit once you hand over the blue card then to another station where they update their app and your card then off you wander to the nurses, sit down, jab, go sit down for ten minutes in case you have a bad reaction and off you go. Very straight forward. Very thankful being able to get this done here and so easily.
@Baconroll. I agree 100 % with your statement. Kampot has got it right and it seems to show on it's results. Nevertheless many expats that i know personally still are hesitant to get the jab. Some are worried because it's chinese, some are worried cause they would have to register with the local sangkat first etc. Most are simply worried to get a needle ! That one included me !! After looking at the consequences i.e. to end up really sick, out of breath at a local hospital (Riverside Referral Hospital for example) where you are placed in a large room with many people (also sick) or worse even under a tent in the open space and no family to support you are simply f,,cked. During your "Hospital" time you will experience zero privacy, bright lights switched on all night/day. Food delivered at the mercy of some outside vendor at the Hospital wall. Good luck with that. I decided to get :stitched" whatever the outcome would be. I know i am now a guinea pig because "ALL" Vaccines are in mass testing stage and :Breakthrough Infectiions with the Delta Version are already happening everywhere. So what the F..ck, just get stitched up, get a blue card and you'll instantly feel better cause it's like you now got a new Credit Card that is more valuable than your old visa card.
I really want to show my appreciation to the medical staff at the vaccination center but so far i was advised not to bring more than drinking water (ok , i brought coca cola instead) . But the job, the speed etc. is unmatched when compared to what a friend of my reported from Germany where it took a lot more paperwork, waiting more than 3 hrs and than wait endlessly for a vaccination card to be issued. Her comment was: I don't know when Germany started to be such a fucked up country ! I hate it. I have nothing to add to this comment except that this was the reason i left Europe more than 20 years ago since most other EU Countries are equally shit.

Had second shot today. All three of us in and out in 10 mins.
Took 45 minutes each way to drive there though.

@YaTingPom. Did you have any side effects after you received your second jab ?
@ raendi. None of the people i know paid anything for the vaccine in Kampot..... None, whatsoever. So the conclusion of your claim is that perhaps they asked for a particular type like Pfizer, Moderna etc. which they perhaps got in a private clinic, Hospital etc.
The Kampot referral and the Vaccination (School at new bridge) aswell as the Sonja Kill Memorial Hospital did not charge anyone for the current Sinopharm, Sinovac Vaccines.
So perhaps you can find out more details where they got the jab and what vaccine type it was. That would clear up things a bit and leave less room for unnecessary speculation.

Plenty of people have 'paid for the vaccine'. But they have been paying for the letter from village chief and not for the jab.
We gave a small donation in PP, which he 'refused' saying there is no need for this, all the while with his hand held outstretched. But he came to our house to give us the forms so I thought a small thank you was fair enough.
Regular folks are not paying extra to get different types of vaccine. You get what is available
