Choosing 'HE' Classroom pics
Choosing 'HE' Classroom pics
Just read that within 2 weeks ALL Kampot classrooms are required to have a picture of Hun Sen prominently displayed. Does anyone know if the Kampot Governor requires a particular snapshot, or will any picture do?
afaik they issue official ones
I doubt a cop would miss out on an opportunity to fine you, ask your sangkat

Had a landlord who had a huge picture of HE in his room. Next to it was an equally huge picture of a guy in military uniform, lots of stars and medals.
I asked if that one was his dad “No my boss, that’s my dad” pointing to a tiny snap of his old man.

pew, pew, pew, pew!
Size counts
Every classroom needs a picture of the president, King Sihanouk and his wife.Guest9999 wrote: ↑Sun Apr 10, 2022 12:46 amJust read that within 2 weeks ALL Kampot classrooms are required to have a picture of Hun Sen prominently displayed. The Provincial office of Education can provide you with the correct ones, but the district office of education would be a good start too.
My 1st 15 years in Cambodia, we operated under an invitation from the Government detailed in an MOU signed and stamped by the relevant Minister. It expressly stated we were to be non-political, and non-religious, and I took this seriously. As such, at that time, putting up photos of the heads of political parties in every classroom would have been against our agreement. A picture of the King and Queen was on the wall in the office, allowed because he was Head of State. If the King was going to visit, we painted the bottom meter of all tree trunks white, and put up a few flags either side of the front gate. (In a musty crawl space under the main floor, I found 4 flags with the three towers of Angkor Wat, already fixed to nice metal capped flag poles. It was suggested, with some enthusiasm, we better not put them out!)
guest5676, who is Cambodia's 'President'?
About pictures of HE, I've got one standing beside him and his helicopter, just before shaking his hand. Is this the type that should be in every provincial classroom?

Just choose the one that looks the most regal.
