Refrigerator for sale
Hitachi 3.5 year old refrigerator, excellent shape. 318L, $570 new asking $200, Reason for selling is I want to upgrade to a double door. BKK1 near ABA main office.
Don't the eggs freeze up ? I have a similar fridge and I can't use those top egg shelves.
You do know you can adjust the temperature, right ?
I had to ask...

No the eggs don't freeze up. They stay the same temperature as everything else in the refrigerator portion.

I love 440: Maybe you should sell yours and buy mine as it sounds like you don't care for fresh frozen eggs? Just a thought!
I have a 10 year old Mitsubishi that is identical to your fridge....Was also 570$...10 years old and never even a freon injection...Your fridge sounds like a hell of a bargain for 200$!

Thanks, just need to move it. I bought the double door and have mine + the smaller one that came with the apartment. The double door was on promotion that will end in three days so I had to pull the trigger.
Never a problem with mine either.

Ehhhh, yep, though since nowhere else in the fridge the eggs do freeze, I just put the eggs in their original packaging somewhere else in the fridge. Also, the kids no longer try to grab 3 eggs from the fridge, walk over to the counter, in the meantime dropping one egg on the ground (or something like that).
The strange thing is, at the top of the fridge at the front door, the location where one normally would expect it to be the hottest place, it seems effectively to be the coldest place. Maybe this is due to the way the fridge works, with the cooling in the upper freezer part and a fan to blow the colder air to the bottom part, just from the top.

Is it just me, or is it mostly comfortable NGO's who sell their unwanted stuff in Cambodia, whereas the relative peasantry just give it away?

And what has that do with the ad posting? An empty accusation because I'm new on this forum? I've lived in the other surrounding countries for 15 years and five in PP. My first time here was in '03, second time here in '04. There is a reason I don't usually go on forums because of the cliques that seem to inhabit them.
Udon was the same, anyone new was deemed an invader.

No, that's not at all true. The fridge is a good price. You should see the fucking junk some people have been trying to sell recently on Cambodian Facebook groups.spitthedog wrote: ↑Sat Sep 04, 2021 5:43 pmIs it just me, or is it mostly comfortable NGO's who sell their unwanted stuff in Cambodia, whereas the relative peasantry just give it away?
Romantic Cambodia is dead and gone. It's with McKinley in the grave.
Hmmmm, every time I go back to the EU, I largely give loads of this stuff to the family and bring new from the EU or buy new in Cambodia after return.

There's hardly room for a half a loan shark in that, let alone a full one.
