Saltburn
Written by Emerald Fennell, who also wrote 6 episodes of Killing Eve
I loved Rosamund Pike in this.
It won’t appeal to everyone but I enjoyed it. It’s not perfect but it walked the thin lines between absurd and edgey, and it had enough of the eccentric British with a twist to appeal to me. It was visually appealing too.

Jury Duty was an entertaining watch- like a real life Truman Show.
Pretty unreal how the entire 'cast' held their shit together.

It’s Christmas Eve eve. For me this means I am not answerable to anyone but me. So I binged Jury Duty. It was fun.violet wrote: ↑Sat Dec 23, 2023 1:05 pmOn your recommendation I just started watching. On Netflix
The Railway Men: the untold story of Bhopal 1984.
I’m old enough to remember this but not old enough to have absorbed why.
I am watching this limited series. It hooked me from the start. It’s so bloody sad. And ire inducing

Maybe it’s been recommended previously but the series ‘Kin’ is excellent viewing.
Set in gangland Dublin and has Littlefinger cast in a very different character to Game of Thrones.
I’m only a couple of episode in but I’m enjoying it so far. There have been 2 series released.

Yeah, worth watching that.
Some good Indian documentaries on Netflix, like Indian Predator : Murder in a Courtroom, and Curry and Cyanide.
I find the documentaries in general are better than the choice of movies, on Netflix.
Watched Man on the Run yesterday about the 1MDB scandal.
Lizard Prime Minister and politicians, Lizard Goldman Sachs and investors.
Pure narcissism all round.
Great stuff.
"I don't care what the people are thinking, i ain't drunk i'm just drinking"
I watched it.
Unfortunately it is long winded, stretched out.
A story, that should be told in 2 hrs, or 3 max
Goes on for a whole season.

Bongs,
Netflix Argentine drama series Monzon : A Knockout Blow was worth watching me finks.
Logos would love it...
The life story of one of the best Middleweight boxers ever.
Abit unfortunate how he treated the chick's though. Sort of on a par with Genghis Khan in that respect, maybe.
His first wife even shot him in the back.
Got the impression he had struggled so much in early life, he just couldn't handle the good life.
Marvin Hagler vs Monzon.
Who would have won that??

7 episodes in Masters of the Air- the latest Spielberg WW2 miniseries.
All American Hero stuff a bit, but visually amazing and doesn't hold back on the 'war is hell' part.
