That moment when you thought that Leroy Sane didn’t play in the World Cup so would be fresh and eager to prove a point this year. He was obviously going to be Man City’s key player during the first month of the season.

I didn’t notice it in real time, neither did any of the commentators on TV. The linesman and the ref don’t have the benefit of slow motion replays.

Which one?
There was a non-interfering player returning from an offside position. He wouldn’t be classed as offside.
The first guy who went for the header, if he touched the ball then the scorer was offside but it wasn’t clear to me if he touched the ball or not.
Again, an error methinks but not a terrible decision.

After a reasonable first 2 GW's adopted my usual strategy of wildcarding early to take advantage of key price rises before they get out of reach. Liverpool to the rescue last game, Andy Robertson was in from the start, but majorly cheesed off that Hamer of 'Udders was taken off in the 13th minute to miss my budget goalie clean sheet. Richarlison out, Walcott in already as I'm sure one will drop 0.1 and the other go up 0.1 by tomorrow. Snooze you lose.

In true "bugger this for a game of soldiers" form, took a -4pt hit to get Aguero in (and captain), at the expense of Kane out. So ..

- Kane hat-trick vs Liverpool
- Aguero subbed for Sane after 45 mins & 0 goals?

At the start of the season, I picked Sturridge on pre-season form. Now it's CL week, he might actually get a start. Might being the operative word!

- Aguero subbed for Sane after 45 mins & 0 goals?

Shouldn't complain - but without taking a -4pt hit to get Aguero in (7pt x 2), I would have captained Hazard (20pt x 2) ... and only 53 mins for Aguero - I was out by 8 mins!

To accommodate Aguero and be ready to bring Kane back in, I drafted in Iwobi on the cheap. He'd just returned to fitness & surely would get some mins ... nope. On the plus side, Mendy (injured) & Iwobi (Fuck Arsenal) will be auto-subbed out for Alexander-Arnold (6pt) & Wan-Bissaka (9pt).

Now with Aguero "injured" big question remains on whether to get another striker in next week along with Kane.
