Who has the best English breakfast sausages in Phnom Penh?
Who has the best English breakfast sausages in Phnom Penh?
Who has the best English breakfast sausages in Phnom Penh and what restaurants are they being sold at?
I know everyone has different tastes.
Just doing a quick survey about sausages. Feeling a bit peckish .

The Box Office seems to be getting regular, consisitantly high praise for English breakfasts and sausages overall.
A few months ago I bought a DIY sausage factory from an Englishman who was going home.
As part of the deal I ended up with a huge bucket of commercial grade seasoning/spices packets in a plethora of flavours. As one packet is enough for 12kg of meat, this is enough for a lifetime. Most expired at the end of 2023, but as they are dried, sealed and contain the necessary nitrates/celery salts, should last forever unopened.
Each one goes for about $10 in the US. Pay for shipping via Virak Bumhorn, and maybe buy me a beer and I can send a packet.
Must have getting on for 100 packets here that won't get used.

If you're looking to cook at home, you can get them delivered by Strokesy's:
https://strokesys-meat.business.site/ (can get on Nham24)
But Mrs. Spigz who is quite a connoisseur (sausage jokes welcome at this point ...) gets them from Koh Kong Sausage, and I have to say they are slightly less salty; if comparing basic pork/english style sausages. (can get on FoodPanda)
Both do a range of other sausages. Digby's also do some, but I tend to use them only for chipolatas for pigs in blankets.

Which might make sense as there aren’t many local suppliers of good bacon, sausages, black pudding etc.Chroy Changvarite wrote: ↑Fri Jan 12, 2024 6:14 pmUSD $10 for a Full English Breakfast is more expensive than the UK!Bu-Car-Keys King wrote: ↑Fri Jan 12, 2024 3:23 pmThe Box Office seems to be getting regular, consisitantly high praise for English breakfasts and sausages overall.
But the box office breakfast is better than the average greasy spoon offering. IMO.
But for a breakfast of that size, back home on my most recent trip, in a decent place was costing £8-10. Of course you can get cheaper but….

What nonsense in the UK you are required by law to pay minimum wage to your staff plus business rates and the rents are sky high, you obviously have some vested interest in the business to be coming out with such apologist garbage for blatant overcharging?ផោមក្លិនស្អុយ wrote: ↑Fri Jan 12, 2024 6:27 pmWhich might make sense as there aren’t many local suppliers of good bacon, sausages, black pudding etc.Chroy Changvarite wrote: ↑Fri Jan 12, 2024 6:14 pmUSD $10 for a Full English Breakfast is more expensive than the UK!Bu-Car-Keys King wrote: ↑Fri Jan 12, 2024 3:23 pmThe Box Office seems to be getting regular, consisitantly high praise for English breakfasts and sausages overall.

Trying to read that punctuation-less rant in one breathe made me go all light headed.
Go elsewhere if it’s too expensive for you. Play less and get lower quality. I’ll concede that it isn’t a bargain, but it is tasty.

Not even worth addressing a reply to.

I typed the second paragraph after I regained consciousness - which was a response to your rant.
But punctuation and paragraphs, I know they are difficult for you. Understandable that you missed it.

you'd be hard pushed to find a better breakfast than Box Office in the capital. Not cheap cheap, but hardly wallet busting.
