Interesting how it has been left rotting for so long.

Romantic Cambodia is dead and gone. It's with McKinley in the grave.

Imagine the parking fees!
Maybe they lost the ticket and the attendant wouldn’t let them out without the reg card.

I read that he was flown from PP to U-Tapao so the plane was doing something between U-Tapao and DMK...

I never really thought about his route out, I imagined he just flew straight from Phnom Penh to Hawaii.

It could do with the "2022 update" and a new Lexus sticker & it's good to go?

The nose needs some buffing out.

At least a few (10?) years ago, there were some abandoned planes in the forrest near the PP airport. Anyone ever seen these?

There are a bunch of abandoned MIGs at the military airbase right by the airport.

I think Lon Nol’s plane is sitting outside at the Air Force museum at Don Muang. When I first went to Bangkok in the 70s there were a lot of discarded Cambodian aircraft beside the runways.
The museum has some very rare aircraft. My favourite is the blue Bearcat.

This plane is not sitting on the grounds of the museum. Anyone actually been to the plane can tell me how to get up to it? Seems it's sitting on airport property by the airport, but not sure which roads are passable for a vehicle.
