I seem to have gotten a minor inguinal hernia, which keeps giving me infections in my bollocks, and anti-biotics have limited in helping.
Surgery may be the best option, so good people, any tips. PP, Bangkok or Saigon, price not so much of an issue, but also a knacker factor.
It's no fun, I'll tell thee.
Hernia treatment
I thought hernias were a muscle thing. How can you get one on your bollocks?
pew, pew, pew, pew!
When the opening to the sac is wide, parts of the abdomen (bowel and fat) can enter the sac and make it become an inguinal hernia. If the opening is only wide enough to let in fluid, this creates a hydrocele.
An inguinal (pronounced "ingwinal") hernia is the most common type of hernia. It can appear as a swelling or lump in your groin, or as an enlarged scrotum (the pouch containing the testicles). The swelling may be painful.

Same problem, done some research recently:
Checkup: Aurora Clinic was advised on this board for ultrasound ($15) but their reviews on the net do not inspire much confidence. A friend went to Preah Ket Mealea Hospital for x-ray ($15) and CT ($?). They also do ultrasound but no idea about cost. Likely pretty affordable.
Operation.... Central hospital, Calmette have some public reviews about this procedure but if you have the money I'd fly to Bangkok. These Khmer hospitals are fairly basic.... There is / was a Thai urologist posting online. You might want to send him a message: https://royalphnompenhhospital.com/doctor-detail/36
Maybe he still has his own website as well. He can likely recommend some places in Bangkok although his employer here might not like that.

Mate recently had his hernia operation at Calmette, his account was that they were nothing but professional and competent. Will ask how much he paid.
I'm not a negative person, I encourage people all the time...it's usually to f**k off! But, whatever.

I started having a lower back hernia 2,5 years ago.
Surgery was not recommended by my GP.
I had 6 times physiotherapy and most effective was doing some yoga exercises.
(Probably a different sort of hernia.)
