Up a big long ancient stairway is a superb temple a top a hill that affords a wonderful view. Set in beautiful countryside it really makes for a worthwhile day out of town. At current no ticket guards either, although would only be $5 I believe.

Two temples videos each & every week, for ideas for great days out that involve ancient history & beautiful countryside, so do subscribe.

I'm pretty sure it is just $2 for entry, normally there is some guard floating around at the bottom, you must have got lucky that day. Great videos, keep them coming.

Hardly forgotten. This place has been in every guide book for at least the last 15 years. It is very easy to find. You can practically walk there from Battambang. The stairway is not "enormous". If you can't get up these steps then it is truly time to retire or go see your doctor. The stairway and scenery is the best part of the journey here. Still, a pleasant place.

In a straight line on Google Earth it's 17 kilometers.Maybe 20 K by road.I'm not walking it.
