"We are turning into a nation of whimpering slaves to Fear—fear of war, fear of poverty, fear of random terrorism, or suddenly getting locked up in a military detention camp on vague charges of being a Terrorist sympathizer." HST
Looks that way.Alexandra wrote: ↑Mon Feb 28, 2022 11:06 pmI’m hearing a rumor that conversions from T to E* has been suspended as of 1st March. Is there any truth to this?PSD_Kiwi wrote: ↑Thu Jan 27, 2022 6:23 pmThe DoI have now made it official that T-type (Tourist) Visas and e-Visas (electronic online Tourist Visa) can legally be converted to an E-type EOS...which means that there should be a standard conversion fee across the board when using an agency.
Whether this is a temporary or permanent move is not yet known, however I suspect it is just gonna be temporary until the issuing of VOA's is reinstated.
pew, pew, pew, pew!
Alexandra Correct, the DoI have put a stop to conversions for anyone who enters Cambodia on a T-type (Tourist) Visa or e-Visa (electronic online Tourist Visa) from 1st March. If you entered prior to 1st March you can still convert, but best do so ASAP before the DoI says no to all.
The issuing of VOA's remains suspended unfortunately.

That is very confusing. I've been here a while so I understand the difference but for someone new it might not seem too clear.

Romantic Cambodia is dead and gone. It's with McKinley in the grave.
Only if you have a Taiwanese passport. All other Nationalities are limited to applying for the T-type Visa online, which is officially called the e-Visa (electronic online Tourist Visa).

E-visa easiness varies Embassy to Embassy. Has anyone experience allowing them to rate how easy E-visas are to get at the Cambodian Embassy in Bangkok?
Thinking of speed of processing if applicant has all required docs: letter of invitation from a company in Cambodia, and proof company is registered and has paid Patent tax.
Thanks!

I got one same day last year. It wasn't hard. Bring bank statements showing that you have money. The more the better. I recall the consular officer wanted to see that.Guest9999 wrote: ↑Tue Mar 08, 2022 1:00 pmE-visa easiness varies Embassy to Embassy.
