Vaccine card for travel details.
I have a vaccine card but the last vaccine (Pfizer booster)was in February, so I'll probably have to get a 5th dose to travel in a few weeks. I believe it has to be done two weeks prior to travel. Does anyone know the full details/rules on this? What are the rules for under 18s?

Depends all on the destination and any transit points. So impossible to answer without knowing your travel plans.
I had no trouble entering Thailand by land with 2 CN jabs + Khmer vaccine record printout and Thailand pass (this will be dropped july 1st). Kids under 18 are not checked for covid jabs if traveling with parents in this case (and entering Cambodia).

No, the safest and most effective solution is to just have a PCR test before you fly.Lucky Lucan wrote: ↑Sun Jun 26, 2022 3:46 pmI'll probably have to get a 5th dose to travel in a few weeks.

That's no longer a requirement.Hot_Pink_Urinal_Mint wrote: ↑Sun Jun 26, 2022 9:24 pmNo, the safest and most effective solution is to just have a PCR test before you fly.Lucky Lucan wrote: ↑Sun Jun 26, 2022 3:46 pmI'll probably have to get a 5th dose to travel in a few weeks.

You've already had 4 doses, that's more than required by most countries, no need for a booster. Majority of countries only require you to have had the minimum recommended doses ie. 2x Pfizer or 1x J&J, etc. The final required dose needing to have been administered at least 2 weeks prior to travel to be considered fully vaccinated.Lucky Lucan wrote: ↑Sun Jun 26, 2022 3:46 pmI have a vaccine card but the last vaccine (Pfizer booster)was in February, so I'll probably have to get a 5th dose to travel in a few weeks. Obviously each country has its own policies, so you'll need to check the requirements of any transit destinations and your final destination.

I'm not a negative person, I encourage people all the time...it's usually to f**k off! But, whatever.
For your return to Cambodia (if applicable)...
As per the MoH's SOP on the new Entry Requirements:
All fully vaccinated travellers should present their vaccination card/certificate in order to be eligible for quarantine free entry.
- Confirmation of complete vaccination status
- Final dose required to have been administered at least 14 days prior to arrival
- Must state:
• Travellers Name
• Type of Vaccine
• Date of vaccination's
*NOTE: Must be hard copy (not digital on phone/tablet), if it is a card then make a colour photocopy, if digital then print out in colour (assuming the original card/cert is actually in colour).
Unvaccinated under 18-year-olds travelling as part of a family group, will be quarantined in accordance with the period that applies to their parents. Therefore, kids with vaccinated parents are exempt from quarantine.
There is no maximum timeframe since final required dose, boosters are not required to be eligible for quarantine free entry.
Recovery from COVID certificates are NOT recognised.

Thanks for that useful information. The under-18 year old has also been vaccinated and has a card.
