I enjoyed Lone Pine, bread was pretty good. A little more expensive but does come with fries.Lucky Lucan wrote:That reminds me, where can I get a decent reuben? Joma does and ok one, any other suggestions?

Lone star had a good Reuben when it was American owned. Haven't been back in a while, also not bad fish & chips ( better/cheaper than Larry's)

Merged with Taqueria Corona 300m away? How does that work?ផោមក្លិនស្អុយ wrote:Lone pine is closing very soon. To be merged with sister restaurant (the Mexican) not sure if menu will survive
I like the food at Lone Pine. My only problem with the places is that it usually has 6-8 Khmer dudes working in there, which is way too many.

Yes - menu is all good; all the cool Mexican stuff there, all the cool Lone Pine burger (best in town hands down) stuff there. The only downside is that I preferred to sit outside at Lone Pine - the space on 51 is very cramped & of course traffic is way worse. If they can find a way to get a shrubbery with some height on it to kill some of the noise/fumes, could be a viable option. Food-wise its as good as ever & will still be going, probably more frequently as I used to go to both!

Thanks for the update. Any parking available? I liked Lone Pine as it was on a quiet street and easy to park out front at lunchtime.Spigzy wrote:Yes - menu is all good; all the cool Mexican stuff there, all the cool Lone Pine burger (best in town hands down) stuff there. Thanks Spigzy , will be down there soon. Shame they couldn't keep the Lone Pine location instead as it was the nicer one of the two but I assume the rent was quite a bit higher there.

Not been for a while. Food is okay, and the family also like it, which is a bonus.
Service was always shit at the old location. Staff dopey and bashful. Hopefully it's trimmed back a bit at the new spot.

I don't go at lunch time usually sorry - for evening there is plenty of parking at the dentist on one side & the shop on the other tend to close at 7pm I think, so they use that space for cars; day time I'm guessing is really not cool. Moto-wise pretty standard affair to park wherever the hell you like.Miguelito wrote:Thanks for the update. Any parking available?
