Not sure I would need hot water in the bodge after experiencing showering with ice cold scoops of water in NE India.
I was actually scared to shower. #Shudder.

"I don't care what the people are thinking, i ain't drunk i'm just drinking"
Yep, it's real-time. However, when the heater is a heavy one with a lot of metal in it, it'll take a lot of time, before that metal is also warmed up. Even with only minimal metal in the heater element, it takes a minute, before you get warm water.ផោមក្លិនស្អុយ wrote: ↑Tue Dec 07, 2021 2:40 pm....
"Combine that with the probably heavy stuff own heat capacity of the device, and it'll take ages to reach its intended temperature."
This sentence makes no sense to me. Also we are talking about an electric shower, no? - if is going to take ages the water will be long gone. It's real time heating.
But I could be wrong. I have been before.
So, read my sentence again and it may make sense to you now.
And, yep, English is not my first language, with only a couple of years official English language education, for the rest "learned in practice".
Let's write in my native language and let me make the laugh of your results. It's a language being full of irregularities, maybe more irregularities as "rules" applied.
There’s a reason English is the dominant language, even in sea and air talk and in countries that it isn’t an official language.
It’s the best!
It’s the best!
pew, pew, pew, pew!

You've chosen to participate in an English language forum. To say let's write in your native language and 'let me make the laugh' is just a silly suggestion.
Maybe just trim back the haughtiness and accept that perhaps your posts don't always make perfect sense - then we can all be BFFs.
Hell, I'm a native English speaker and my posts aren't always 100% clear. But I hope I don't arrogantly disparage others if they misunderstand or can't understand my meaning. (I maybe do)

Yep, just show and proclaim your superiority and hide your stupidity around the subject of discussion, by pointing out non-relevant items in English writing. Ouch, that's the way Trumpie and the White Supremacy does work.ផោមក្លិនស្អុយ wrote: ↑Tue Dec 07, 2021 8:12 pm@v12

Oh, and my spell checker does quite often light up words in your original texts, so, yeah, your English writing might need some attention too.
I learned to try to understand what people write, even when it is not really clear, right from the start. Or, at least, I do so, for those who have something realistic to write about. Right wing believers don't belong to that category.

Ok then. I tried to post some help to the OP rather than trying to show how clever I am about the subject matter.v12 wrote: ↑Wed Dec 08, 2021 12:14 amYep, just show and proclaim your superiority and hide your stupidity around the subject of discussion, by pointing out non-relevant items in English writing. Your style actually reminds me of your 'Trumpie' in that you make errors, don't admit them then proclaim that the reader is at fault for not understanding.
Covfefe.
Clearly their lack of understanding is down to their 'stupidity' and not any fault of the author...
And, you reckon i'm a right winger? LOL, more of a right full-back, though I did enjoy playing centre half from time to time. But my football days are sadly gone now. I am up for a one-off kickabout though if you are interested. I bought a lovely pair of blue moldie astro boots a couple of years ago and have only used them a couple of times.
So showers then. I really hope the OP gets sorted.

Really, I thought that you a were non-native English speaker. I won't hold back from pointing out your punctuation and grammar errors from now onwards.ផោមក្លិនស្អុយ wrote: ↑Tue Dec 07, 2021 8:12 pm

Go for it Fred, but I can't help feeling that it would be a remarkable waste of your time.Fred Edwards wrote: ↑Wed Dec 08, 2021 6:30 amReally, I thought that you a were non-native English speaker. You could be Vlad the second.
PS 'now onwards' is clumsy and uncommon in British English. Best to use 'now on' from this day forward
You're welcome.
