Am going to book a flight back to UK in June. Klm seems the only affordable option with a transfer in bkk to Amsterdam onto Gla.
I understand 20k bht insurance is needed reduced from 40k. Is that accurate.
Will I need to go through immigration in bkk? My transfer is within 4hours.
Any more info about any more costs (pcr) as their is a flight transfering in Singapore but is 150£ more but maybe less hassle.
Cheers
Transfer in bkk

PSD_Kiwi,
Seeking mere rumours and hearsay here.
Have you perhaps heard any gossip leading you to think Thailand might soon follow Cambodia's lead and eliminate pre-flight Covid tests? Or, at least reduce costs, by allowing negative Covid rapid tests, perhaps with a certificate from an official clinic/doctor, and no longer strictly require PCR tests?

I met a guy just last night who was denied boarding yesterday by Bangkok Airways flying through BKK to the UK.
The staff told him he needed a Thailand pass, even though he wasn't going through Thai immigration and his flights were on a single ticket connecting from Bangkok Airways to Qatar Airways to the UK.
Sounds like the staff got it wrong.
Make sure you have the insurance and that there is a term sheet saying COVID included and saying the minimum dollar amount. And the PCR test.
The way things are tending though by June you may not need anything at all.

Why was he denied? Did he fail to prove medical insurance covering at least 100k?superguest wrote: ↑Thu Mar 17, 2022 10:05 amI met a guy just last night who was denied boarding yesterday by Bangkok Airways flying through BKK to the UK.

In one week I am booked to fly from the UK to Manila with KLM.
Options were via Bangkok or via Singapore.
Options were via Bangkok or via Singapore.
- Bangkok entailed an airside stopover, I would need to leave the KLM plane and board again a few minutes later, back to the same seat. however, I would have been subject to the full Thailand testing requirements, a pre-flight PCR test in both directions.
- Singapore has the SGP-MNL flight on Singapore airlines rather than KLM, there is no need for testing to transit Singapore though I will need a negative test for entry to the Philippines. The flights must be on a single ticket.

I'm going via Singapore Germany then UK
In June.
One ticket
As far as I can see don't need anything via Singapore.
Entry into UK just needs printed vaccine doc.
Anyone been on this connection recently?
