Travel from Thailand to Cambodia
I am an American living in Thailand. I am thinking of taking a trip to Cambodia but I am unsure if there are restrictions on travel from Thailand. Can anyone provide me with any travel restrictions there may be between Thailand and Cambodia? Also, I understand that I can pay with American dollars for a visa when I enter. Can I also pay with Thai Baht or an American credit card when I arrive in Cambodia? Thanks in advance.
The only restriction is that you cannot enter via land border entry points from Thailand currently, you can only fly in. You need to pay the Visa on Arrival fee in USD, T-type (Toursit) Visa = $30, E-type (Ordinary) Visa = $35, cannot pay by card.
To qualify for quarantine free entry, you must be fully vaccinated. As per the MoH's SOP on Entry Requirements:
All fully vaccinated travellers should present their vaccination card/certificate in order to be eligible for quarantine free entry.
- Confirmation of complete vaccination status
- Final dose required to have been administered at least 14 days prior to arrival
- Must state:
• Travellers Name
• Type of Vaccine
• Date of vaccination's
*NOTE: Must be hard copy (not digital on phone/tablet), if it is a card then make a colour photocopy, if digital then print out in colour (assuming the original card/cert is actually in colour).
There is no maximum timeframe since final required dose, boosters are not required to be eligible for quarantine free entry.
If not fully vaccinated, you are required to undergo mandatory 14 days quarantine in a Government approved quarantine hotel at your own expense, you can either;
1. Pre-book an ASQ Hotel, no deposit payable at airport, payment directly to ASQ hotel, or
2. Pay USD$2000 deposit on arrival, MoH will allocate and transport you to a quarantine hotel.

I'm not a negative person, I encourage people all the time...it's usually to f**k off! But, whatever.
