A white foreign woman is set to be deported from the Indonesian island of Bali after she behaved inappropriately during local Balinese cultural performances by walking naked on stage.
A video shows the 28-year-old German tourist Darya Taschinski stripping naked during a traditional Balinese performance in Ubud, Bali.
According to the video, the woman was seen walking naked on stage and trying to open the door behind the scenes, when security guards tried to stop her before she walked down the aisle between the audience on both sides and kneeling with hands clasped together. But then the woman returned to the stage again, refusing to leave while the show continued.
Following the incident, the foreign woman was arrested before being taken to hospital.
According to villagers, in the past, locals often saw the woman walking naked nearby. . After investigation, the woman in the video claimed that she was in a depressed state because she did not have enough money to pay for accommodation or a return flight home.
Staff at the Saraswati Ubud Temple apologised to their visitors and performed a ritual to remove the "bad energy" from the area caused by the streaker.
Public indecency is illegal under Article 281 of the country's Criminal Code, which prohibits "acts that violate public decency or morals".
It can be used to prosecute people for engaging in public displays of affection, such as kissing or hugging, or for those wearing revealing clothing or stripping off in public.
The maximum punishment for violating Article 281 of the Criminal Code of Indonesia is two years and eight months in prison.

Broke German woman strips during Balinese dance show to get deported
Bringing the news. You stay classy, nas, Cambodia.
.
I'm heading to Bali for a couple of months in a week or so and it appears it's the right time of the year to be going as another westerner has just got her bits out on the back of a bike.

That’s two foreigners exposing their private parts in public this week.
After a scandal involving a naked German woman at an Ubud temple, we now have another outrageous incident related to foreigner misconduct in Bali.
Prominent social media activist Ni Luh Djelantik brought our attention to a new viral video depicting a blonde Caucasian woman, sitting on a motorbike behind a foreign male, exposing her genitals to a camera. The video appears to have been taken in Seminyak.
“Bali does not need trashy tourists!” Ni Luh wrote in the video’s caption.
“Foreigners are increasingly going too far with their actions. All the enforcement of the rules has not made them learn their lesson.”
In the post, Ni Luh also called for harsher sanctions for misbehaving tourists, while thanking the Ngurah Rai Immigration office for listening to her complaint and looking into the matter.
Authorities have yet to issue a statement on the incident as of this article’s publication. Tourist misconduct usually results in deportation from Indonesia.

Bali visitors to be issued do’s and don’ts lists on arrival
Australians heading to Bali will soon receive a list of do’s and don’ts on arrival, under new rules set by the Indonesian government that take aim at unruly tourist behaviour.
Bali governor Wayan Koster, who said the new rules aim to restore “quality and dignity” to the island, issued the circular letter of guidelines to government departments earlier this week, outlining 12 ‘dos’ and eight ‘don’ts’.
Speaking at a press conference on Wednesday, Koster cautioned those who violate the rules to brace for “strict action” in the form of cancelled visas, penalties or legal proceedings.
“Everyone should take this circular seriously, implement it, and disseminate it to all their staff and foreign tourists visiting Bali,” said Koster.
Koster previously proposed a tourist tax, foreign visitor caps and a ban on tourists renting and using motorbikes as possible ways to help address disrespectful and dangerous behaviour from foreign visitors, with frustrations mounting from locals and Bali officials.
“If we let this go on, then we will only attract cheap tourists who maybe just eat nasi bungkus (a rice dish wrapped in banana leaves or paper), rent motorbikes and break [traffic laws], and steal from ATMs,” Koster said previously.
A series of incidents involving international visitors misbehaving on the Indonesian island have resulted in more than 100 deportations so far this year. Just one Australian citizen has been deported in the period from January 1 and April 30, for overstaying their visa. Koster has previously singled out Russian tourists as the worst offenders, with the majority of deportees coming from Russia since January.
Among the more high-profile were that of a Russian blogger who posed naked on a sacred tree, a Danish woman exposing herself on a motorbike in now-viral footage, and another Russian tourist who pulled his pants down at a volcano considered a holy site.
