RIP Sir Roger Moore, 89

Believe it or not, there is a whole other world outside of Cambodia and South East Asia, be it people or politics, frustrations or football, this is the place to talk about it.

I always thought 'The Spy Who Loved Me' was a great film; his best performance as James B. He was a good man, I feel.

Sean Connery was great but I just adored Roger Moore. The total anti-Bond: not athletic, middle-aged, and always looked like he jsut had to get rid of the bad guys quickly so he could pick up a chick and head for the bar. My sort of guy.

While Moore featured in some terrible, corny Bond films, I'll remember him as Simon Templar in The Saint. Absolutely adored his wheels, a Volvo P1800

As a mark of respect i tried to watch The spy who loved me but couldn't handle more than half an hour.
Yet you were part of my childhood & represented an era, I remember seeing him modeling an aran sweater on a knitting pattern mag when i was a child.
Loosing such an icon reminds one of their own mortality.
R.I.P Sir Roger Moore

Some of his films were so bad they were epic. Very funny guy in interviews and never took himself seriously or had any "Hollywood" about him.
Always thought he did the Bond cheesy lines the best.

RIP Mr Bond.
