Ryanair blocks passengers from flights unless they pay back Covid refunds
Budget airline says customers who used 'chargeback' rules to receive a refund cannot fly
Ryanair has barred passengers who got Covid refunds for its flights until they pay back the money.
But this is just the latest of a number of other issues the Airline is well known for.
Close to a thousand Ryanair customers received money back through their credit card companies for trips they did not take during the pandemic. But Ryanair has disputed the payments and said customers must pay them back before they are allowed to fly again.
Holiday makers say their plans are now in tatters after being effectively blacklisted over disputed “chargebacks”.
It comes after the Competition and Markets Authority watchdog last week dropped its investigation into allegations Ryanair and British Airways had unfairly denied customers refunds during the crisis, and instead offered travellers vouchers for future flights.
Outraged customers said they were met with payment demands at check-in, just hours before they were due to fly.

I agree, they are total kuntz.
Romantic Cambodia is dead and gone. It's with McKinley in the grave.
O’Leary is known for pisstake announcements.
Stand up seats, getting rid of toilets etc.
Maybe he’s actually serious

pew, pew, pew, pew!
There's no doubt they'd go to any length to make an extra buck. If it were legal or commercially viable they'd do it.
Not surprised by their borderline fraudulent practices on covid refunds.
Flying since the mid-80s, not bad for a shite airline.

I have only once flown on RyanAir and will never fly with them again. The CEO is a chauvinist pig who has made disgusting remarks about women in the workplace.
In June 2017, Bonderman resigned from the board of Uber amidst controversy surrounding a sexist response to fellow board member Arianna Huffington during a company all-hands meeting.[11] "There’s a lot of data that shows when there’s one woman on the board, it’s much more likely that there will be a second woman on the board," said Huffington. Bonderman replied, "actually, what it shows is that it's much more likely to be more talking." The Uber meeting was, among other things, slated to discuss efforts to rein in a toxic and sexist culture at the company.[12][13][14]
Actually, it's just like Paypal, when things go smooth, nothing wrong. When things go haywire, you are simply lost and always on the short straw.

As i'm living in Oi'land i may or may not agree with the criticisms of Ryanair on here, but they seem to do dirt cheap flights to Europe destinations, and as a wise respected poster on here once said, i'm not rich enough to have principles. (Unlike that O'leary CEO chap)
"I don't care what the people are thinking, i ain't drunk i'm just drinking"
Harold, you are aware Ryanair and Uber are 2 distinct, separate, different companies, aren't you?Harold wrote: ↑Sat Oct 16, 2021 11:54 amI have only once flown on RyanAir and will never fly with them again. The CEO is a chauvinist pig who has made disgusting remarks about women in the workplace.

Or are you still high on firewater or something?
Apparently Bonderman is not the CEO but the Non-Executive Chairman of RyanAir. Either way he plays an important role in the company and it is sickening to think that a man who has made sexist remarks is allowed to play any part in the company at all.
If you'd found out he was a chauvinist pig while mid-flight, would you have asked for a parachute?
The CEO of Ryanair has done a lot to protect female passengers on Ryanair flights.
If a man ever goes into the toilet on a Ryanair flight to molest a woman, he'll definitely pay for it.

I think that avatar was bestowed on Harold and he (maybe) is unable to change it.
That's the kind of thing a hands-on forum owner like you would have known and been well on top of...so I'm probably wrong.
