The problem is, that none of the vaccines is 100% effective, not even with boosters.
Effective against what? Infection? Agreed, they are highly ineffective. Serious illness and death? Here they do a good job, although not for life, not even for a year, more like six months. The UK is now dishing out boosters every three months.
What's the plan, vaccinate every man, woman and child every six months? To what end? What is an acceptable level of risk? Or are we to live like this forever?

The issue is that a small part of the population does have (known & determined) a compromised immune system, which would make the Covid-19 vaccine a risky item (due to how vaccines "work").
Not according to the medical establishment. For example the CDC recommends that "severely immunocompromised people" to "get the shot" (
CDC Website).
If you are not fully aligned with the current consensus of the medical establishment, wouldn't that may you an anti-vaxxer?? Careful, you will be voting for Trumpy next.

The target is to get and keep the R0 significantly below 1, at least until there is a fully effective treatment.
Why is that the target? It may have been the goal in the beginning when it was conceivable that Covid could be driven to extinction. It was also a goal prior to vaccinating the vulnerable in order to buy us some time for vaccine roll out.
Why would that be the goal now? To what end?

Here, you completely fail and try to plug bollocks, lying with known facts. The fact that the vaccines aren't safe for a pretty well-defined group of people, does not make the vaccines itself unsafe for the others. See above.
Anger and ad hominem.
The bottom line is that a large proportion of our adult populations are scared out of their wits and will sign up to practically anything that can relieve that fear of impending death.
That's understandable given the sterling job the media have done in cultivating fear.
A fear of death. A fear which for many today represents total annihilation.
- Force vaccinations, DO IT
- Lock people in their homes, GREAT
- Restrict freedom of movement, HERE HERE
- Censor information that challenges the prevailing narrative, BRILLIANT
- Give politicians the powers to strips rights in a heart beat, IT'S FOR THE BEST
What I take objection to is trying to dress up that fear and self-preservation instinct as some kind of altruism.
