End of Week 11 of the Russo-Ukrainian War and there has been a bit of give and take, however no substantive changes in positions.
The North and West has seen increased presence of the Belarus Army on the border, however there are no indications this is more than posturing. The cost-benefit calculations for involvement of Belarusian ground forces in the conflict have only worsened for Lukashenko since the outset of the invasion and there is little incentive for him to change his stance.
Around Kharkiv, the Ukrainian counteroffensive that begun last week continued with much of Kharkiv now outside of artillery range. Ukrainian forces have pushed Russian forces North and East and appear to have maintained momentum in this theatre. Russia is reportedly holding forces in reserve in Belgorod and reportedly moving forces from Izyum to support its units near Kharkiv.
In the Donbass, Russian forces have made small but steady advances as they attempt to encircle Sievierodonetsk, though advances from Izyum appear to have stalled. There was a Russian breakthrough in the Donetsk line of contact at Popasna. The situation remains one of grinding warfare from both sides.
In the South there has been no change, with Ukrainian forces still holed up in the Azovstal steel complex in Mariupol. Odessa has been subject to heavy bombardment recently and the Ukrainians attacked small naval craft and air-defense units on Snake Island. The bridge connecting the portion of Ukraine bordering Southern Moldova and Romania continues to be targeted, most likely to disrupt the logistics chain from Romania.
In Moldova there is heightened tension, though no change in the position of forces in the break-away region of Transnistria. Moldova is to receive increased military support from the European Council, however what this means in reality is unclear given the state of Moldova's armed forces.
There was little to glean from the May 9th Victory Day parade in Moscow, with it being a somewhat muted affair.

Ukraine forces have one critical component that russians dont have
HEART.
Its not the size of the dog in the fight.

Video evidence of Russian genocide aired by CNN. Chances are slim to none that Ukraine will sit down and negotiate a peace settlement with Russian leader's.

It may be true, but I would take anything aired by CNN with a ton of salt. Crybaby News Network with zero ethics or reporting standards.
Probably made by Chris Cuomo inbetween two of his sexual harassment or dirt-digging escapades

The use of social media by the military of both sides has been interesting. The Ukrainians have adopted an approach of being quite forthright in regards to territorial control, whereas the Russians have been reluctant to release such information, particularly losses, with a heavier emphasis on the rationale for the invasion.
Both sides appear to have a rather liberal approach to troop and equipment numbers.
As a result many seeking information on the territorial situation go to Ukrainian military sources due to their promptness and reliability. The Ukrainians then have additional feel-good stories regarding their troops around these sources of information; rescued dogs and cats feature heavily as do territorial defence units manned by ordinary citizens. This serves to humanise their troops in the eyes of those seeking battlefield information, many of whom are nominally neutral or anti-Ukraine.
Those going to Russian military sources tend to be those already supportive of Russia, however who may not be convinced as to the rationale for the invasion. Hence a heavier emphasis on humanitarian aid and grateful citizens.
In many ways it is a result of different audiences; the Russians are focused on their domestic audience, Ukrainians the international. Still, it provides some insight as to who both sides feel is important to influence in regards to the war.

The greatest publicity coup right now would be ukraine reinforcements relieving the steel works trapped.
Are you reading this president zelensky.
The coup would be enough to end the war.

A target rich environment just got richer. All you have to do is turn your phone off. A bit too much to ask of anyone who grows up thumb-fucking a cell phone.

Peaceful nation my ass. One of the most corrupt nations and killing 14k civilians since 2014. Fuck you Elinsky.
It appears the 2500, of which 700 are wounded, under siege in the mariopoul steel complex, are slowly becoming heroes right before our very eyes.
A military siege of this length and magnitude
has got the attention of the world.
What valour!
Bravo ukraine!!

Adolph would love them.
Goons on both sides, stop drinking the MSM Kool-Aid.
Oh do fuck off.
It's a perfect win-win situation. There's a problem with Russians annexing Crimea and trying to take over t6he industrial heartland of a sovereign state back in 2014.
There's also a bit of an issue with right-wing thugs (a common theme in all European and the west in general).
Question- let these twats march around on the street attacking the odd immigrant and sieg-heiling at rallies (see Russia, Hungary and others) or send them off as expendable cannon fodder in some far-flung backwater shithole?
Plus Russia has no problem sending in the Wagner Group mercs (with strong right-wing elements and SS ink) to Syria, Africa and Ukraine.
Why is it that fweedom lovers who stood up to vaccine tywanny (shoulder to shoulder with some questionable sorts with slightly white-power type agendas), along with those who hate 'anti-fa' with a passion (some dicks there too), suddenly jump on the UKRAINE IS A NAZI STATE bullshit?
Yes, the media war is not to be trusted, but the Russian cunts did attack the Ukranian cunts after promising not to, and the Ukrainian cunts were never really going to seiously threaten the Russian cunts.
IMO NATO will use take this long term, grind down the Russian military to useless with a steady supply of arms and logistics, while losing zero troops in the process. Much like sending the skinhead kids from the towerblocks of Kiev/Kyiv off to shoot/get shot by Russian skinhead mercs in the Donbas 2014-early 22.
