Elon Musk and Twitter
Isn't the majority of electricity in the world today still produced by coal/ fossil fuel power stations?
Electric cars may actually exacerbate the problem

I did say fuck big oil. The rest is entirely your own supposition. I quite like the Tesla vehicle with a caveat or three while Elon has a laundry list of shady ways to conduct himself and his buisnes's clearly laid out in some detail above. He hardly put himself through school as the Times would lead you to believe. Everybody has to ride bikes now because your comprehension skills are a bit suspect? Hardly my man. you still owe me a beverage btw.

Meanwhile, Tesla stock has plummeted 45% in six months and dropped significantly since he announced this laughable PR stunt to buy Twitter. In the process he has wiped tens of billions off his net worth, with the crypto wipe out too. If he continues to tank the share price, what bets he will be ousted as CEO?
Well done for mentioning it. Also Zoom lost big from it's $500 high. Now at a hundred. I see a thread about crypto's fall, but none about the even bigger crash in stocks. Why is this? Conservative blinkers?Guest wrote: ↑Sun May 22, 2022 11:28 amMeanwhile, Tesla stock has plummeted 45% in six months and dropped significantly since he announced this laughable PR stunt to buy Twitter. There hasn’t been a big crash in stocks - not in the overall market anyway. Certain stocks like Tesla have tanked but that’s simply a result of numpties talking it up in the same way they did crypto. The wider market is down a bit but nothing too worrying given the economic headwinds.

^^ Tesla shares recent plunge have more to do with sexual harassment allegations recently come to light. From Barrons: "Tesla TSLA –6.42% stock took a beating as investors digested sexual-harassment allegations against CEO Elon Musk.
Thursday, Business Insider reported that SpaceX paid a flight attendant $250,000 in 2018 to settle claims that in 2016, Musk exposed himself to her and indicated he would pay her for sexual contact." .
He has formed a new legal department in Tesla to litigate for himself against those who would dare besmirch him going forword. His Twitter bid is now on the rocks as both stocks reverse course. He bid $54 a share(44 Billion) when Twitter was priced around $40 a share moving the price up to $51 now dropping to $38. Obviously large investors have little faith that this deal will go through. His talk about fake accounts is either an extreme lack of due diligence or the beginning of an off ramp to exit the deal. Since he began his bid to "own the libs" Tesla stock has lost 400 Billion in market share. Could Tesla stock catch fire again? Not sure but a Tesla could.

The stock is tanking because he has made Teslaall about himself and less about the cars. Since he has unveiled himself as a trolling MAGA type, he will have alienated Tesla’s core target market - left-leaning middle class liberals who care about the environment
An utterly stupid move: has he really persuaded himself that it’s twats like Gonk who are Tesla’s target demographic?

Twitter investors sue Elon Musk for stock 'manipulation' during takeover bid
He's at it again. Been borrowing against his overinflated Tesla shares without disclosure. Apparently.

Jesus , you are a bunch of complete morons if you let yourself be distracted by the noise around Elon.
Fact is, Tesla has been executing flawlessly in the last 2 years and has been extending its technological lead over all of its competitors. They have by far the best engineers. It's not the top 1%, it's the top zero, 1% of the top 1%. They had three million job applications last year. Tesla and SpaceX are the two preferred companies where all graduating engineers want to work ahead of Google Apple etc. If you've got the best brains you can of course deliver the best products with the best margins.
Who gives a fuck about a fake sexual harassment claim or even about Twitter? This will be forgotten in a few months and musk will get control at a more realistic price. It doesn't mean he's going to be distracted by Twitter but he will appoint a competent management team that will turn it around as it should be, and cut off all the woke deadwood, starting with the current worthless management. Are you even aware that they just had to pay $150 million fine imposed by the sec because they violated their user's privacy by selling their phone numbers and their email addresses?
The real issue is not Elon musk taking over Twitter , it's Twitter having given completely phony users numbers as everybody knows that bots makeup at least 20-25% of all the contents.
You might still get a chance at buying Tesla on the cheap at under $800. I was lucky enough to spend all the spare change I had on buying extra Tesla stonk last week below 700. Their profits will double and triple over the next couple of years, given their vertical integration which means they are much less affected by the supply chain issues than any other manufacturer. There is a slow motion tsunami that has been coming in the last few years and that will only accelerate. About 1 million cars last year, and a 50% compounded growth rate over the next 7 to 8 years at least. In 12 months they will have overtaken BMW and Audi in terms of production numbers. In 5-6 years they will overtake Volkswagen and Toyota. Berlin and Texas will again increase their capacity along with Shanghai. There will be a new gigafactory focusing on battery production in Indonesia (did you notice that the Indonesian president traveled himself to Texas to meet Elon musk? No? I didn't think so)
It's important so I will repeat this. If you want to make a pretty good amount of money in the next 5 to 6 years, buy Tesla stock now while it's still affordable. There will be another stock split by the end of the year. I'm ready to bet that the company will be worth north of 2 trillion dollars by the end of 2024.

This post feels like you’re trying to convince yourself more than anyone else reading it.
No "guest", I don't need any convincing. I can read a P&L statement and interpret growth charts. Mostly, I listen to what insiders say and keep well informed. I also put my $$ where my mouth is. Do you? I doubt it. So far it's been pretty rewarding.
Would you rather be one of the suckers who lost fortunes shorting TSLA?
Have you heard of this pathetic, obsessive guy?
