Never invented anything, The bitter irony of tying your Tesla investors to your irratic online persona. Of all the biz's he could have bought that would have complimented his portfolio this is not one of them and is proving to be so much more than just a hiccup.: By the time Musk is done with Twitter it will be nothing more than a "carousel of shitting horses with their butts facing outward."

Here's my 2 cents, and unlike Sonic I don't need to quote particularly moronic tweets to try and make a point
1. TSLA in 2023 will more than double from yesterday's low that was about $169 (so a minimum of 100% upside). I bought more of the dip last night before closing time, 100 stock @ aboit 169. Incredible buying opportunities, the financial black Friday of a lifetime.
Catalysts for the stock, in no particular order
- cybertruck
- new Gigafactory, probably Mexico or Indonesia
- ramping up of Texas & Berlin production
- share buyback
- end of twitter overhang
- FSD will propagate and generate insane returns (there's no real competition)
- IRA with Tesla as a main beneficiary
- collapse of some traditional automaker unable to produce Evs in sufficient numbers and drowning in debt
- likely price war in china leading to local (unprofitable) competition being hammered
- ramping up of the solar & energy business, virtual power plants, huge demand for magapacks
2. Twitter within 5 years will be valued at way more than the 44B Musk paid for it. He started getting rid of all the deadwood (to the dismay of all who can't recognize a bloated structure when they see one). As he famously said and acted: "let that sink in".

I forgot 2 things, maybe more
- supercharging network ramping up, 40k installed worldwide so far. With profits from non Tesla that'll charge on their network as it's just more efficient and probably cheaper
- Tesla Semi from Dec 1st, that'll disrupt the trucking & haulage industries

Whilst not quite as bullish as Logos (you really lurve him, don’t you?) I also believe that Tesla is extremely good value.
I’m not sure about more than doubling in the next year, but I expect it to do well.
I got in at the lowest point last week - let’s see how it goes.
I’d be much less confident about twitter at the minute though.

China is dominating EV battery production to the point Tesla is now a customer joining Toyota in that regard. EV competitors are increasingly more competitive in this market particularly in China, the worlds largest EV Market. BYD is well worth the investment at this point given there increasing market penetration. Tesla's Cybertruck is the biggest joke on the market and if and when it gets released it will lag well behind Ford's Lightning EV. Here is Musk unveiling the new Cybertruck and it did not go well as he demonstrates the new bullletproof "transparent metal" windows a couple years ago. Nothing instills consumer confidence like a failed test. Maybe they threw those steel balls too hard......because bullets do NOT travel that fast???

I see $MSTR is higher than $TSLA today
That’s not how it works. MSTR has only 11,320,000 outstanding shares and $1.71B market cap, but TSLA has 3,146,000,000 outstanding shares and $572.99B market cap.Guestguest wrote: ↑Sat Nov 26, 2022 6:13 pmI see $MSTR is higher than $TSLA today
If MSTR had the same number of outstanding shares as TSLA, one individual MSTR share would trade at $0.54. It’s a penny stock compared to TSLA.

You really don't know much about the subject, except for regurgitating a few headlines aimed at gullible chumps, do you?
BYD is Indeed a solid company, unlike most other they're actually making money. But their pure EV market share is still limited and their margins are razor thin compared to Tesla. Warren Buffet's BH fund just dumped their BYD shares, maybe because they are extremely dependant on the health of the Chinese market. Tesla not so much and they have over two-thirds of the global US market for evs despite the number of "tesla killers" out there that can't keep up with Tesla pricing, production rates and innovation pace.
As far as the cybertruck is concerned, they don't have much to worry about with 1.5M preorders. What you call a joke will probably become the best-selling vehicle in the US within the next couple of years. The only limiting factor will be the the production capacity in the Austin gigafactory, at least for the first few years.
That's well as maybe, but I know which one I'd rather be holding, today. @ 100,000 shares, that's quite a tidy profit.Alexandra wrote: ↑Sat Nov 26, 2022 7:47 pmThat’s not how it works. Why, because they invest in Bitcoin? Why not just buy Bitcoin yourself? MSTR is a riskier play.Guestguest wrote: ↑Sun Nov 27, 2022 12:20 pmThat's well as maybe, but I know which one I'd rather be holding, today. @ 100,000 shares, that's quite a tidy profit.
Not sure when you entered to call it a profit, they’ve been on a rapid decline the past year. Admittedly pretty much everything is, but -66.22% YTD is no profit unless you’re shorting it but it sounds like you’re long.
Still can’t make any sense of why it’s relevant to compare it to Tesla but Tesla is “only” down -54.28% YTD. It feels like you’re shilling MSTR because you entered the peak of the pump and hold heavy bags. Tidy profit my ass.
Got a few friends who do amateur trading. They often say “I’ve made $10k today” or “I’ve lost $10k today”.
It’s the same as saying you made $60k on your house but you still live there.
It’s only positive or negative if you sell.

I can see a large worth in SpaceX or Tesla. However it's difficult for me to see how Twitter can be profitable on ad sales and subscriptions alone, but maybe that's not the point. The influence of a huge social media site is hard to quantify but must be worth vast amounts.
Romantic Cambodia is dead and gone. It's with McKinley in the grave.
To come back on topic, here's some insight about twitter's likely future
