Between Musk’s claims of protecting free speech through to his left-field foreign diplomacy offerings, there appears little media space left for Trump to garner attention.
Musk has sucked the oxygen out of that particular room.

Every wealthy Brazilian I know has gone to stay in the USA in the past month
This is quite extraordinary. Musk yesterday interrupted firing half of his staff to have a call with leading advertisers who were concerned about the changes to moderation policies, particularly its impact on their brands.
Shortly after Musk tweeted that ad revenues were plummeting because advertisers were being targeted by ‘activists’.
One of the advertisers on the call - the CEO of MMA Global - replied to Musk’s tweet. The results are entirely predictable.

My take:
He was spot on in firing the top guys on the first day, it was an essential move
But he should have left other stuff in place for a couple of month , with gradual improvements, and shift things progressively.
Dealing with the bots then improving the tech & cleaning house over a year or so. Instead he's been causing a shitstorm with himself at the epicenter
Bas timing and in hindsight, not a shrewd process. Balancing the advertisers, slapping a fee etc, too much too fast.
Also, firing everyone then rehiring... I get his motives but he should have put a managerial team in place and delegated.

It's easy to see why VW and General Motors have pulled their advertising, but not sure what is behind Pfizer quitting.logos wrote: ↑Sun Nov 06, 2022 5:06 amMy take:

Former co founder, Jack Dorsey, admits to growing company too fast and has apologized to the 3500 staff been given the boot by Musk.

Isn’t the real issue that he has come on board boldly proclaiming the free speech is sacred mantra, yet when he is called out for his bollocks he acts like a petulant child and blocks them?
Why are all these right wing figureheads so thin-skinned?

Jeez prahok. He doesn't give a s*** about being praised. He does want to fix Twitter and stop it from losing over 4 million per day.
He endorsed Republican candidates a few hours ago.

Are you kidding? He’s the most openly egotistical person I can think of.

A head of lettuce outlasted Truss. Next opponent?
Freedom is not a state. It is an act. It is not some enchanted garden perched high on a distant plateau.. Freedom is a continuous action we all must take, and each generation must do its part to create an even more fair, more just society.-John Lewis
