“Their political show interfered in China’s internal affairs under the guise of human rights and freedom, and smeared Hong Kong’s human rights and rule of law, in an attempt to incite hostility and confrontation and tarnish China’s image,”
Statement by CCP over Tienanmen Square remembrance Day march.
I know that the media likes to twist things, but honestly, anyone who supports China needs to remember its history.
They drove trucks back and forth over the bodies of 10,000 single family Students then hosed their mangled corpses down the drains.
And are still trying to deny it. Which only proves to me that they are capable of doing the exact same thing again. I mean, how can you officially deny that the massacre took place and forbid any rememberance of said event.

Pretty sure it was around 2600 killed (including military) and 7,000+ injured, arriving at a 10k total. drains would have to be really big with enormous volumes of water to hose away the pulped remains of 10,000 people.
Just sayin'.

Do you condemn the commemoration?
Or are you just ignorant of the facts?
The drains in Tienanmen Square are huge.
There were hundreds of thousands of protesters. Around 10,000 people were murdered by the CCP including the CCPs own troops.
Many thousands more injured.
"At least 10,000 people died in Tiananmen Square massacre, secret British cable from the time alleged
Secret document suggested death toll was much higher than later reported, while claiming wounded students were bayoneted as they begged for their lives and the burnt remains of victims were 'hosed down the drains."

Unless any of us were there we will have to rely on what we read.
Thanks for stating what's obvious to everyone except to Mr Quint. I'm surprised there aren't more CCP apologists replying as I'm pretty sure I've read a few pro CCP members posts on here over the years.Anthony's Wiener wrote: ↑Mon Jun 06, 2022 7:58 am"Pretty sure it was around 2600 killed (including military) and 7,000+ injured, arriving at a 10k total."Dylan Quint wrote: ↑Mon Jun 06, 2022 5:36 amPays not to belive everything you read. Good thing the British have a spotless record (especially in China, right?) for human rights AND for honesty, right?JollyBee wrote: ↑Sun Jun 05, 2022 7:49 pm"At least 10,000 people died in Tiananmen Square massacre, secret British cable from the time alleged

'secret British cable'. Well, that settles it, then.

Don't believe everything you read, is all I said. Everyone has a choice to believe what we want from what we read. I chose a more realistic report while you chose an hysterical one.JollyBee wrote: ↑Mon Jun 06, 2022 10:01 amThanks for stating what's obvious to everyone except to Mr Quint. Perhaps you should have dug deeper into the article instead of just taking what your leaders say at face value? There is nothing the British have done in China that the Chinese haven't done over their long history to their own people as well as to others. In fact, Britain has a lot of catching up to do. A very long history will do that.xinyua wrote: ↑Mon Jun 06, 2022 10:17 amGood thing the British have a spotless record (especially in China, right?) for human rights AND for honesty, right?JollyBee wrote: ↑Sun Jun 05, 2022 7:49 pm"At least 10,000 people died in Tiananmen Square massacre, secret British cable from the time alleged

I always just ask Alexa what 2+2 is.
She knows everything.
It's a shame more women weren't like her.

If you ask Chinese Alexa she will update the answer according to a CCP directive.spitthedog wrote: ↑Mon Jun 06, 2022 3:02 pmI always just ask Alexa what 2+2 is.

Whataboutism, the argument of choice of fascists regardless of colour
You unintentionally bring up an interesting point. If the British government wanted to attack China, why didn't they release the figures?xinyua wrote: ↑Mon Jun 06, 2022 10:17 amGood thing the British have a spotless record (especially in China, right?) for human rights AND for honesty, right?JollyBee wrote: ↑Sun Jun 05, 2022 7:49 pm"At least 10,000 people died in Tiananmen Square massacre, secret British cable from the time alleged

The information was tracked down years later by a reporter.
